Anyone still waiting for GCSE marking reviews?

Ours were submitted on results day. Heard nothing yet but I know some people have. Waiting on CIE and AQA.

From experience CIE can take bloody ages!

Waiting for AQA Eng Lit. Hopefully soon as my DD needs it ASAP to start the course whe wants

Friends heard back from Edexcel in 5 days!

We're waiting for AQA Biology - 🤞🏻1 mark off grade boundary but not feeling particularly hopeful 😬

We've just received remarking results for AQA Eng Lit, her markes rasied by 30(!!!), so from grade 6 my DD raised to grade 8 (1 mark away from 9), that's exactly how all her mocks were, 8-9 all the time (we were surprised she got 6)! I am speechless to be honest re marking of AQA papers!

TBH, we only got an A level re-mark yesterday. Sadly they reduced it by 2 marks. It was a long wait for a big disappointment.

Just got AQA literature GCSE back today, submitted on results day. Reviewed, 4 marks found and gone from a 7 to an 8. Am delighted for DD

We’ve not submitted yet. One mark off the next grade for two GCSEs. Both AQA. Fingers crossed for at least one positive result

Waiting for AQA English Language. I submitted it on the Monday after results.

We’re waiting for AQA GCSE English Language-think it was submitted Wednesday after results, but not sure - we paid for the review on the Tuesday afternoon but not sure when the exams officer was working.

Got AQA Chemistry back yesterday (2 extra marks taking DD from an 8 to a 9) and waiting on AQA Eng lang. School submitted on her behalf, so not sure what day that happened on, but they chased her for permission to do so on results day.

30?! Do you mind me asking where this came from - was it a missed question or all questions raised? (English HOD, I despair)

Our exam officer is still on annual leave so no one can submit them...

Paper 1 marks were added on A1 and A7 (15 marks in total added). Paper 2 marks were added on A7, B27, C28.1 (15 marks in total added). All marks were added under "Error in Academic Judgement".

That wonderful for your DD - well done for getting it looked at again - but absolutely shocking to know that this can happen. Many won’t have the means or motivation to submit for review and will just accept their grade when it could have been so vastly under marked.

We are still waiting. It’s been 15 days now so surely we will hear next week.

I submitted 2 for review. Not heard back on either yet.

Waiting for an AQA remark. One mark off the grade required to take the A Level, and the sixth form wouldn't budge on the threshold, even in view of the circumstances in which GCSE was taken (problematic). Anyway, review request was submitted the Monday after results (by school, hence delay). Hoping they don't keep us too much longer.

Posted on the wrong thread! Just got Eng Language review back- 4 extra marks so got the higher grade!

Got ours back today. They gave with one hand and took away with the other, so we've got nowhere.

Sorry @ClarkeFangirl was that English too? Its really subjective which is hard.
