Not sure if anyone is around yet but thought I’d open one.

Has anyone started any practice questions yet? Mine will be starting tutoring in September, she’s had an assessment to see where she’s at currently and now just enjoying the sunshine ☀️

Good luck for everyone taking it today! So nervous!

DD said it was 'fine'. She only had to guess a few questions and had enough time so I'm taking that as a positive. She didn't seem too stressed by the experience. Me on the other hand...I was so glad to see her come out!

My daughter did FSCE today came out looking sad but said she thinks she did ok. I’m worried for her - myself i am just proud she did her best but for her I worry how it will affect her if she’s not in. Not to mention my EXTREMELY overbearing ex husband!

What did she say about the test? My DC said the time was a struggle and they missed a few questions near the end of the test as it was really difficult for them to complete it all

good luck to yours and mine! X

My dd took FSCE exam today too, didn’t complete it, found some questions much harder than expected.
I don't have high hopes, but proud she actually went because up until 7am she wasn’t going to take the exam

Well done to all the DCs who have taken/about to take their exams! It’s been a big journey for them and us parents, and whatever the outcome I hope they can take something positive from the experience and carry it forward with them.

My DC had the exact same experience!!!

they didn’t finish a few questions unfortunately, not got high hopes but hoping and praying for a miracle because the schools in our area aren’t great! 😞

Hopefully they’ll have done well.
I spoke to a friend, her son sat the exam at a different school but was FSCE too, and she has said the same. He found it hard and couldn’t finish the papers.
not sure of the paper was a lot tougher than expected.

dd has now decided she really likes the school…which will make it even harder if the results don’t go the way she wants (here’s hoping )

She said similar. It was hard and very fast paced. She managed to complete both but she’s not very confident as said she just had to guess some. Time will tell. General consensus from her tutor group and girls in her school who took the test is similar!
