I didn't manage to get back on the thread yesterday, but thank you for your kind words.
I had to pick DD up from school- she went in okay, but started crying when she got there. It took them 40 minutes to get her calm enough to sit the literature exam yesterday, they gave her the option not to do it, but she wanted to have a go. She only managed the Inspector calls question, didn't do Christmas carol and the poetry was about fathers so she didn't even look at it at that.
School have written a long explanation to the examining board about what went on yesterday morning, so hopefully they will take things into consideration.so hopefully she will be able to manage some of the questions. I think we both written physics off.
I brought her home with me, she had a long nap in the afternoon, and I haven't even pushed physics revision. She went in this morning, prepared to do it, they've already allocated her a room to herself and a member of staff that she is comfortable with, which is helpful so hopefully she will be able to manage some of the questions. I think we've both written physics off.
No more exams until after half term now, hopefully she can get some revision done next week and go back in a bit more confidently.
School run a surfing club which she loves going to and they have suggested that she does that tonight so she had some to look forward to today. She won't get home till about 8 o'clock though, so I'll see how it all went then.
