Anyone else have a DC sitting 11+ this Autumn?

If so, would you like to chat on a support thread?

DD is sitting her exam tomorrow.

Anyone else? Waiting for the results will be nail-biting.

I read the first few posts and now feeling anxious - I wasn't before this. So I am stepping away - I will come back to this thread in Feb/ March or when we get any results. Good Luck everyone

Well I wouldn't worry about her coping at grammar to be honest she has met the standard.

I dare say it's different from scho to school but the grammars are not just academic hot houses, they care about the kids and their well being, if they they made the pass mark then they'll be fine for standard.
@Berrylina I am holding on anxiously for March too, even a high mark round here means nothing to guarantee a place so I have a lot of nail biting to do. See you on the other side!

Passed both exams! So pleased now have to work out what the best order for CAF forms and anxious wait until march.

Positive thoughts or whatever you accept to those who are disappointed with the result, and to those who will still have to await answers over schools in March.

Results by email tomorrow here. Thinking of having a stiff drink or two tonight to take the edge off 😬

Lovely news about the cat! Any clues as to where it had been?
Tiffin round 1 results due here today. Thankfully working so won’t be able to auto refresh my email so much it breaks the internet! I think DS and I would both be ever so slightly relieved if he doesn’t get through as at least we know either way (and don’t have to sit any more exams!)

Congratulations to all of those who have received the results that they were hoping for.

I feel for those of you that know the results, but still have an anxious wait until March!

We're still waiting on results. Just over 3 weeks of waiting down. The results are said to arrive in the post by Saturday 'at the latest' so I'm on post watch this week.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

Can I join in, still nervously awaiting results here. Were supposed to be by this friday However the school is having a parent meeting on Wednesday to reassure parents following a horrendous ofsted report and implied we would have the results before then

DD has ranked top 200 for both schools we've heard from. Pretty much guarantees a place as in the mix between schools for our city they normally take down to about rank 400. Now excuse me whilst I go to have a little cry.

None at all @FlamingoSocks! Dd tamed her from feral and was devastated when she went missing. There was lots of sobbing yesterday which I think was cathartic for her.

I'm so glad I'm not working Thursday, I keep crying every time I think about telling DS the results. Whichever way round it goes. I'm a mess already. Argh!

I don't know if we get them today or "w/c 17th" as both me and my friend thought differently on this and nowhere does it say on email. We think it must have been stated on the screen when you booked the test.

Another newbie on here 👋🏻 Is it BRGS you are waiting for by any chance? I saw the OFSTED report, ouch!!

We got results on Friday, my son has passed but not ranked high enough to secure a place as we are OOC he’s number 55 on the reserve list, which I’m thinking is probably too far down. Doesn’t help that our local comp is rubbish! I was assuming we were already out of the game as he didn’t manage to finish any of the papers, not a clue what to do now on the CAF.
