Finally sorted it!

Myrtle I came back to see if you had put up a photo. She looks absolutely gorgeous!! Beautiful dress!!

DD is going a bit more Victorian gothic look with a lot of pink!! Nails hand eyelashes done today. Hair is going pink tomorrow (eek)! Prom on Friday. Feeling nervous about the hair. Hope she likes it!!

Ah sorry - thank you all for the lovely comments!

She had a lovely time. About 6/9 months ago she had a massive falling-out with her then best friend - imo the friend was using DD and was absolutely horrible to her (I know I'm biased). Dd has been absorbed into a different friendship group and the difference in her is amazing. She and the friendship group all looked fabulous last night and it was so lovely to see in the official/unofficial photos how comfortable DD was with them - they really care and look out for her and vice versa. I know girls can have their falling outs but this group don't appear to have any drama llamas or overbearing characters.

So, weather held out, setting was stunning, DC looked amazing and a good time was had by all! Some of the DC are leaving the school to go onto different sixth form options so some tears were shed..

Who is up next on prom watch?

Anyone before Wednesday? That’s when dd’s Is.
Her dad was supposed to be sorting the car - one of both of our friends. That car is now not a certainty so Dad had sorted a back up. Then two days ago said the back up wasn’t available and went on holiday!
I’ve rung a different friend and we now have a back up (mum to the rescue again!)

1 week to DD1's 6th form prom. 2 weeks to DD2's prom. And then we're on holiday!

This weekend we're going to Holland to go through my mum's house. Bittersweet, but we are going to spend time with family too.

Pointy it is indeed a bittersweet visit but I hope you all get the chance to share some special memories.

Yes DD's prom is tomorrow. The pink hair is great, thank goodness and she is thrilled with it. I will put pics on tomorrow night. Just hoping the rain stays away.

ROA and shirt signing this morning, then prom tonight, can’t believe it’s the last time he’ll wear his school uniform, he’s going to another school for sixth form to join their sports academy where they study for A levels every morning for 4 days a week and train every afternoon with college league matches every Wednesday. Pre season fitness starts Monday.
Still wrangling with John Lewis over prom shoes!
