A new thread to avoid the doomsday scenario of running out of posts as envelopes are opened on Friday, waiting lists move (or don’t) and e-mails are opened on 1 March.

autumnnightsaredrawingin snap! same position as you, following this thread with interest as it will be us next year!
Also looking at PHS and others in SW London....

Anyone hear of Tiffin waitlist moving yet?

Sweetnhappy1 · 15/03/2019 12:55

Callicarpa19 the deadline to accept state school places is tonight at 23.59 so there won't be any movement until after this.

Bool yes, Tiffin vs Wimbledon High. Difficult journey vs easy journey but obviously financial implications.

Bool · 15/03/2019 17:55

@Sweetnhappy1 what did you decide in the end?

Bool · 07/09/2019 13:35

School has started. Checking in to see how everyone is getting on and what the final decisions were. So far so good with PHS - mini Bool is very happy after the first 3 days. And DS has gone back to KGS very happily too.

FlumePlume · 07/09/2019 14:53

MiniFlume is delighted with everything at the moment. I’m sure it can’t last, but from what I’m hearing the girls are friendly, the teaching is fast-paced (which she likes) and interesting, and the lunches are delicious!

Ah this is a lovely post! DD (mini Guinea Pig Wink) is very happy after first week at KGS. Made friends and enjoying lessons so far, coping well with public transport etc too x

Sweetnhappy1 · 07/09/2019 16:00

Hi all! Bool I'm so sorry, I totally missed your last post in March. DD started WHS this week and is very happy. I'm so glad of the short commute and grateful to the experienced parents on this thread who said don't underestimate the importance. She's pretty knackered but seems happy.

Bool · 08/09/2019 04:06

Ah so lovely to hear from you!!! Am very happy am not going through it all over again. Sending all my luck to those going through its this year - hang on in there! WineFlowers
