A new thread to avoid the doomsday scenario of running out of posts as envelopes are opened on Friday, waiting lists move (or don’t) and e-mails are opened on 1 March.

Anyone hear of Tiffin waitlist moving yet?

Callicarpa19 the deadline to accept state school places is tonight at 23.59 so there won't be any movement until after this.

Bool yes, Tiffin vs Wimbledon High. Difficult journey vs easy journey but obviously financial implications.

@Sweetnhappy1 what did you decide in the end?

School has started. Checking in to see how everyone is getting on and what the final decisions were. So far so good with PHS - mini Bool is very happy after the first 3 days. And DS has gone back to KGS very happily too.

MiniFlume is delighted with everything at the moment. I’m sure it can’t last, but from what I’m hearing the girls are friendly, the teaching is fast-paced (which she likes) and interesting, and the lunches are delicious!

Hi all! Bool I'm so sorry, I totally missed your last post in March. DD started WHS this week and is very happy. I'm so glad of the short commute and grateful to the experienced parents on this thread who said don't underestimate the importance. She's pretty knackered but seems happy.
