Well the results are in and I'm so proud. A 9 in History (her favourite subject), 8s in Biology, Chemistry, Eng Lang, Maths, Physics and Religious Studies, 7 in Art and Eng Lit and a 6 in the dreaded French.

Daughter is buzzing as am I 😀 well done to all your DCs.

Did anyone’s DC do AQA graphics? DS got an A* but it says it’s 8.5 points-that’s rather random!

I thought an A* was 9 points?

Urgh, getting nervous here. DD always tends to underperform in exams. She’s better at real life.

Omg she's gone in. We've been repeating all the way here "2 x 6s and 4 x 4s" which is the minimum entry for sfc.

Then she suddenly said what if I don't get that

1×5, 3x7, 4x8 and 3x9
She can go to her first choice 6th form!

My DS got into the selective 6th form with the 8's that he needed. Very pleased. Congratulations to all DS on here. Remember if yours did not get what they needed there is always a plan B. My other DS had a big problem with his AS last year but we went for a plan B and now he has the Uni place he wanted this year.

A very happy ds in our house, results surpassed both his, mine and the schools expectations.
9x Grade 9 Maths, English. English Lit, French, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Food Tech 2 x 8 Music and RE and A^ for Further Maths.
Have been crying in the car.

Everyone has done so well.

We had 80% A*/9/8 at our school !!!!

DS is chuffed with his results 4 x 9's, 2 x 8's, 1 x 7, 1 x 6 and 1 x 4 in the dreaded French.

Signed up for his new 6th form and got his subject choices.... and breath

Remember plan b is sometimes v good. My brother's plan b made him a fortune!

I cried!

...not the stunning results of some, but superb for my son.

1 x 8 , 2 x7, 5 x6, and a 5 in maths and english -! He massively struggles with both those! and was so worried about them.

All good in the house of blue - 5 x A* and 5 x A
.....all that panicking for nothing!!!
