We picked up results in the Heathrow Short Stay carpark:
9 for Maths
8 for Geography + History
A star for Music, Eng Lit, RS, Chemistry + Physics
A for Eng Lang, French + Biology

He is incredibly relieved! Now eating vast amounts of toast, then heading out to buy an air bed for Reading!

Well done Majestic and always and mummy - I expect there will be some curved balls with marks but always worth checking.

Good luck to all DC. I am half way through our GCSE cycle. 3 years ago DD1 got her results, and 3 years until DD2.
If they don't get what they need, then other doors will open after the initial disappointment.

DD is very nervous this morning. I'm taking her in to collect them at 10.

DS got 3 9s - English x2 and computing! Art was a 5 after all that nagging!! Relieved he got 8 in maths as well so the A level looks fine.

As further proof of how well all of your DC have done, a grand total of 732 DC across the country received straight grade 9s.

Back in for sixth form with a mix of 6's and 5's, one 7, one 3 ( French)
Nice to chat with him on phone from Italy where he seems reasonably pleased and is having a good time!

Slight negotiation with school on whether he continues plan to do Theatre Studies ( with a 5 for Drama) or switches to Physics(6)
To go with Music (6) and Maths (7)
