Thread 16 full to brim. Hope nobody minds me starting new one.

I’m still the only one awake in my house. DTs collect at 10am from school.

Neither are sure what they want me to do other than buy them breakfast and drive them there.

So I’ll probably end up hovering somewhere hoping neither of them forget to come and tell me

Chunter In the Archers last week, Lizzie was agonising over her wayward son's A level results and completely forgot to ask her grade A twin daughter how she had got on. I can't imagine the pressure of having two to worry about on the same day.

Ds now debating is he going to walk with friends (raining...) or get a lift. I have offered them all a lift - will be leaving soon as school open at 9.

DS1 has just had a rant about the R4 piece on brain development in 16 year olds. Which kind of proves the point that was because me made about immaturity.

Couple of 5s, 6s, 7s and B's here. Not sure if the IT grade will be high enough to continue. Think school wanted a 6. But good enough. Well done to all.

Dd is going in at 10.15 to get her results. I've had a look at grade boundaries but not mentioned it to her. I think it'll just stress her too much.

Snozzle Many years ago I had to drive around chasing the postman to find out what I had got as the school popped them in the post and we lived very rurally. I was down there at the weekend. Hope your DD gets what she wants.
