Amazing results ReservoirDogs! Super-well done!

DD" has told me the OCR Latin boundaries and I can put them here for anyone who needs them

PandaG · 23/08/2018 07:28

Oh well.done Reservoir Junior!!
Whathaveifound - glad results mostly as expected and hope it is straightforward to reassess A level choice. X

PandaG · 23/08/2018 07:28

And well done Majestic mini too!!

JufusMum · 23/08/2018 07:29

majestic well done!
WhathaveIdone hope you can get the A level choice sorted x

mmmz · 23/08/2018 07:30

Cherryburn yes, that's it exactly. But the teacher looked at me as though I had two heads when i attempted to point it out.

Someone said upthread that I'm a Jeremy Vine character. That was really generous, but I'm nowhere near as benign. Faced with a teacher who is giving misleading info (particularly if I know that they know they are trying to say black is white), i'm more like Andrew Neil. DH hates coming to parents nights with me.

beenrumbled · 23/08/2018 07:31

brilliant majestic x

mmmz · 23/08/2018 07:31

Wonderful results, MajesticWhine

mmmz · 23/08/2018 07:31

ReservoirDogs · 23/08/2018 07:31

LooseAtTheSeams · 23/08/2018 07:38

Wow, I feel late to the party! Well done ReservoirStar
Whathave - definitely worth reviewing. Just checked in with a colleague - most of our English results are as expected but there are some weird ones in there.

cubscout · 23/08/2018 07:39

Well done Majestic dd!
whathave - fingers crossd you can get it sorted. Is it worth asking for a review? let us know what school say x

AlexanderHamilton · 23/08/2018 07:40

Did is refusing to even mention anything to do with GCSE’s. We will leave at around 8.30am. Can collect from 10am.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 23/08/2018 07:40

And well done WhathaveIFound, that sounds good!

eaglefly · 23/08/2018 07:40

Morning all - finished the evening with some chick flick and nice glass of gin. Had a very detailed dream where basically DD got really low grades and lots of people kept surrounding us before we could finish reading the page, then I lost the page. The notices that they had misspelt DDs name. And I dreamt about this thread. One of you posted her results and instead of congratulating somebody said why are you showing off?!! Thank god I am awake.

Reservoir as the first to get the results let me just say fantastic set of results. Yay! Many many congrats.

Still catching up on the thread. Big hugs to you all x

TerfTerf2 · 23/08/2018 07:41

Well done majestic Gin must be a relief!
Looked at the 2 Edexcels that DS did - needs 83% in history and 80% in French to get a 9. Hmmmmm...
Well those are more what I would have expected from grade boundaries anyway.

mmmz are you populating that spreadsheet on us yet GrinGrinGrin

mummymeister · 23/08/2018 07:44

Been up since 5. found some chocolate croissants at the back of the freezer so had those for breakfast. DH and DC left to drive in for results just after 8 so about half an hour to go. I have been sick with worry - even though I have done this a fair few times before with other DC because I just don't think I can call these results. Mocks were all over the shop and need a high average to get back into school. Bloody hate this. someone needs to invent exams where you do them and get the result back immediately like with the driving theory test.

LooseAtTheSeams · 23/08/2018 07:44

Majestic apologies, missed your wonderful results - that's what comes of trying to text my colleagues, read a spreadsheet and follow the thread at the same time! Well done!

eaglefly · 23/08/2018 07:44

Brilliant majestic

mmmz · 23/08/2018 07:45

terf only the one for grade boundaries.

Just waiting for AQA. Here's the link that i've been refreshing www.aqa.org.uk/exams-administration/results-days/grade-boundaries-and-ums/raw-mark-grade-boundary-tables

SnowyAlps · 23/08/2018 07:48
