I have to say I am very impressed with your ability to even find this information.....are you hackers in your spare time?

Looks like 71% for a grade A* for Chem 67% for Biology and 76% for Physics.

Chem- A* 128/180 A 110/180 B 92/180
Bio- A* 122/180 A 105/180 B 88/180
Phy- A* 139-180 A 123/180 B 107/180

I think they look about right judging by how DD felt about the exams Physics was definitely the easier of them all.

Edexcel Higher Maths apparently 202/240 for a 9. Up 12 marks on last year. But as I said I saw this on Twitter I have no idea how accurate this is.

I'm voting mmmz to be sensible Kanga with her spreadsheets and sost as always cheerful Tigger. We are all quite Pooh-ish and none as morose as Eeyore

Have just nipped out to buy card and ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies. Think that's quite celebratory!
I think I'll have to share the art result with you all - if it's bad we'll laugh it off and if it's 4 or above I will be claiming credit for the nagging I did to make sure everything was handed in!

mmzz please tell me boundaries you saw for English language. I know they may not be genuine but I still like to know please especially as you said they were 'interesting'

The AQA English Lang leak I saw showed the boundaries at the upper end all move up. So last year's 9, now an 8, 8 now a 7 etc they fell more into line with 2017 around the 5 boundary.

I suppose it makes sense that the second year of doing the exams will learn from the first year, and the most able would be able to refine their technique.

Wasn't good news for DS though (but he doesn't know about it yet)

DS has just this minute admitted to being slightly nervous about tomorrow. It's more about losing face than anything else...

oh gawd the English going up is NOT what I needed - that's the scary one for DD, if she doesn't get that 6 then it's game over for Sixth Form :(
