DD has being pretty ill all weekend and hasn't being herself so no revision done and it's her worst history paper tomorrow

DD said Chemistry was alrightish this morning, she could answer bits of all the questions. Further Maths wasn't so good!

That was the treat for my dd as it came out on last exam day. All episodes have been watched and she is very upset that she has another year to wait until the next series.
She started her holiday job yesterday though.

Not long to go for the rest of you.

Only General Studies to go here - and nothing to revise, so DD had a great weekend. We will probably both collapse in a heap of exhaustion tomorrow evening, then take it easy until it's time to start panicking about results day!

dowhatnow - dd came down in tears that one of her favourite actors had died....tears!!!!!

Please don't say it was in OITNB - I haven't seen all the episodes yet!

Season 4 came out on Friday and I'm on episode 9 already. It's a good thing I don't have any exams to revise for.

swing you have my sympathies about the cat. We had to do the same thing last year (we'd had her for 17 years) and it affected me more than I thought it would.

I've never seen OITNB. Is it a Netflix thing?

Yes OITNB is on Netflix. Dd has watched a few of the new series on her breaks. I suspect tomorrow afternoon she will be glued to it.

Dd was also determined not to go to her leaver's party but she's glad she went. She wore jeans and a t shirt and that was fine because it was at school rather than a proper prom at an external venue. Everyone else was dressed to the nines with full hair and makeup. She goes to a single sex school but very few people brought a plus one because they felt it was their party to say goodbye to their friends. The academic head of KS4 did bring his gf and all the girls were gutted because they were so sure he was dating the pastoral head of KS4 who he shares an office with and car shares with. Their Shipping bubble was burst. Got to feel sorry for teachers with nosy teens matchmaking!

DD and her friends tried to match make him and he kept saying i have a partner and then eventually through a joke they clicked on the teacher was gay. it burst there bubble.
DD is very excited for pretty little liars to be back and she plans to watch the X-files back to back

I can't quite believe we have made it to this point!! Hope it goes ok today and then we can relax!

DD has History (the dreaded sources paper!) and graphics (her worst subject - her school is a technology specialist so a DT subject is mandatory) We'll be very glad when today is over!

I think I may be more excited and relieved than DD TBH!

Last exam done! DD is coming home and what she doesn't know is I've bought her a highlighter she's being wanting for ages so it's at home sat on the side with a bottle of coke and there's ice in the fridge and some green and blacks chocolate butterscotch her favourite
crosses fingers no-one breaks in
DD said she got the same purpose and message and everything as everyone else which is what she was worried about and it was on her favourite area recruitment!
