Sparkling, I was wondering about that. We have so many revision guides, booklets, etc to recycle. Do we just chuck them out with the old wine boxes?

LineRunner · 11/06/2015 19:46

That was to your previous post, Sparkling!

TheWordFactory · 11/06/2015 19:47

sparkling I would imagine it is an anti climax.

All that looking forward and adrenalin fizzing around...then ...bam...The End.

Bound to feel odd I think.

SugarPlumTree · 11/06/2015 19:52

I don't think it has sunk in with DD as came home then went straight to make soup (again), now watching something with DH as they often do and it isn't different yet.

Sparklingbrook · 11/06/2015 19:54

DS1 wants to keep any books/papers in relation to his A Level choices and chuck the rest Line. But I am really not sure.

YY Word. I think he has been looking forward to the end of the exams so much, and now it's all a bit nothing. He has 6th form induction days the week after next. an Orthodontist appointment and the Prom. Grin

TorresTourist · 11/06/2015 19:55

We're not post GCSE until tomorrow, bring it on! I'm not sure what to expect, though I am told that they must not be woken up unless the house is on fire.

TorresTourist · 11/06/2015 19:57

sugarPlum - see you in 5 years then! Hmm

Littleham · 11/06/2015 20:00

I wish my dd would make soup for the family when stressed. Very useful.Smile She makes origami mess...confetti......strewn over bedroom floor.

DD seems to have ground to a halt even though she has one exam left tomorrow.

Awful about the road shenanigans Sugar. Wine

SugarPlumTree · 11/06/2015 20:02

Oh good I won't be on my own in 2020 then Torres ! Shame we won't know what we're doing as it will all be different again.

TheWoollybacksWife · 11/06/2015 20:08

Oh Sugar that sounds very scary. I hope you are both OK

Will I be talking to myself then next week? Smile DD has graphics next Wednesday - I'm sure I saw one other graphics student mentioned. Please talk to me Grin

auntpetunia · 11/06/2015 20:12

Oh I want to be post GCSES! Another week here, please dont abandon me !

simbo · 11/06/2015 20:12

Last exam tomorrow for us (physics- worst subject). DD nsiststhat she can't find her unit 1 stuff and only has the revision guide to go on, I really think she has given up on it as it has been so hot today and she has had 2 days off. I told her one last push and then she won't have to do it again - bit like childbirth...
Good luck to all with the rest of the exams. Unfortunately I am away with work tomorrow so won't be arund to see her off or back.

SugarPlumTree · 11/06/2015 20:14

We'll all be here discussing Prom stuff to distract you both from the exams. Feel a bit guilty not everyone is done yet FlowersWineCake

dingit · 11/06/2015 20:14

Aunt petunia, I'm with you, all the way until next Friday. Poor dd is nearly on her knees, and the worst week yet to come Hmm

Littleham · 11/06/2015 20:17

Still got A Levels next week in my house (dreading it), so I'll be around if you need to off-load.

TheWoollybacksWife · 11/06/2015 20:17

What exams does your DD have next week dingit?

bigTillyMint · 11/06/2015 20:19

We're not post-GCSE till Tuesday after History 3, Woolly, so you can talk to me!

I think it will be an anti-climax. Can you post-GCSEers keep us posted on what to expect please?

Simbo, same here - physics is DD's worst subject too.

bigTillyMint · 11/06/2015 20:20

We still haven't had any communications about PromConfused

dingit · 11/06/2015 20:21

Biology, history paper 3, chemistry physics ( in that order). Oh help, I'm going to need Wine, aren't i?.
No offence, but I can't wait to say see yah on 20th August to you lot Wink

TorresTourist · 11/06/2015 20:21

Sugar we'll be clueless and moaning about how our DCs have 50 exams when it was 'only' about 23 last time round. Or just sitting rocking in the corner as we'll have a child doing university finals and one doing GCSEs.

bebumba · 11/06/2015 20:28

I am not post GCSE until next Friday either. Further maths X2 , general studies and statistics still to go. Please don't leave and turn the lights out.

auntpetunia · 11/06/2015 20:28

Physics tomorrow and then triple science final papers and graphics here next week, a really tough week. Dingit what's your dd got?

TheWoollybacksWife · 11/06/2015 20:30

Torres that was me this year Smile
DD1 finished her uni exams last Friday and DD2 is still mid GCSEs. Wine has helped.

We have a big family party weekend coming up after exams are finished. There will be much celebrating and more wine GrinGrin

SugarPlumTree · 11/06/2015 20:41

That bit about GCSE's and Finals just stopped me in my tracks a bit Torres, hadn't thought of that ! Sounds like we'd better follow Woolley's advice and start stockpiling wine then.

Better get some in for triple scientists and graphics people for tomorrow and next week WineWineWine

MadAsgardian · 11/06/2015 20:46

All a bit better this week. DD is feeling much happier. Turns out it was cycling to work that was causing most of her stress!!!

She hasn't cycled much since she has been at High School, she normally walks everywhere but work is just a bit too far. DH has relented and agreed to take her and pick her up for 2 more weeks.

Maths seems to have gone well today. Further maths is the last one next Friday.

She is going to a taster day at college next week so she's looking forward to that.
