When she was first minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon was often interviewed by the press outside of her home.

I can remember feeling shocked at how small her house was. I think it was semi-detached.

And it looked like it was on a housing estate or just an ordinary house.

Now, there is obviously nothing wrong with this. It’s just that I assumed because she was such a high-ranking politician and had so much influence and notoriety she would’ve lived in a better and larger home with more security.

And I’m not even saying this in relation to the money that her husband allegedly laundered from the SNP. Just in general, I would expect such a politician to have a better house.

Why do you think this is?

She lived in a pretty nice new build estate absolutely not semi-detached. She was filmed outside the house when the news story re her husband being arrested / house being searched was at its peak.

I must have missed the part where politicians have to disclose their sexuality, sexual history, sexual partners, romantic relationship status, and domestic living arrangements to any random nosey git who deems these sorts of things to be very much their business in the first place.

Nicola is, and always will be, one of my favourite women.

The fact that a woman from a council house (aye her parents bought it, but so did many other people) became FM of Scotland for more years than any middle class man, is something that every single woman should be happy about.

I used that in my job working with disadvantaged young people. Boys and girls. This could be you. FM of Scotland.

Doesn’t matter what your upbringing is. A lassie from a council house runs the country and has been elected to do so more times than any other person.

It's Nicola's H who was charged and found guilty of criminal behaviour and who is in prison serving time. She was investigated and no charges were brought against her.

I ceased to have any interest in Nicola Sturgeon the day she resigned from Government, because that was the day she ceased to have any relevance to my life, yet here we are three and a half years on, and still she's living rent-free in the heads of some of the more odd contingent on here, and seemingly driving them to apoplexy simply for existing.

The Harry & Meghan crowd are weird enough, but the NS obsessives aren't far behind.
