Peter Murrell is in court in Edinburgh today. This is for the preliminary hearing which was postponed from before the election. It will be interesting to see how the criminal proceedings proceed.

What I want to know is what was thought about the Campervan within the SNP. There was a whole separate line for it in the accounts. Where the fuck did they think it was? Why was no one asking what it was being used for?

Agreed. Also, when he refused to let members of the audit committee see the accounts, what did people think then? What did he actually say? I just can't grasp how he did that and got away with it. It's so far away from the way any organisation I have ever known has run. I think it just shows a completely toxic culture that he could simply refuse and that was that.

A sensible person, which we know NS is not, would keep their head down, stay out of the public eye and shut the hell up.

I’m disgusted that she is trying to play the victim card in relation to being blamed for her husband’s crimes, trying to garner sympathy by trying with those women who have been wrongly judged.

Unlike those women, she saw the accounts, she sighed off these accounts and actively warned her party against asking questions regarding the finances. Quite a nasty piece of work and nothing like those women who have been screwed over by their husbands crimes.

Well technically she didn’t answer any questions. No comment to every one.

Why on earth would you donate at this time? Unless supporters are concerned that Peter needs a third hairdryer for his time in prison???

I bet This is why the SNP don’t want an investigation. There are many places within the org where his crime should have been noticed and reported.

I can’t believe she’s expecting people to say she never saw the motorhome parked at her in-laws house. It’s literally unbelievable rubbish. Hope someone finds a photo of her stepping down out of it or something.

Wings have done a mock up of the van model with house and driveway where it was parked using Google Earth and Streetview. Conclusion - there’s no way she couldn’t have seen it.

She said the motor home was parked down the side of Murrell’s parents house hence the fact she didn’t see it. I bet she considered saying she had NEVER been there due to pressure of work but knew there would be some picture somewhere..

She is truly shameless and I saw the interview this morning and she came across as quite hurt and of course playing the victim. I didn’t see anything, I know nothing. I was too busy running Scotland. Surely she had people who would be pointing out anything untoward or draw her attention to something.

None of us expect her to read pages and pages but the ridiculous 2 hairdryers on the accounts - why on earth would a man with NO hair buy two. Wonder if Nicola used one?

She was such a controlling, all across her brief, micro manager who always had an answer for everything and yet now she seems to have no recollection of anything. I do agree with the pendant though. Why on earth would she know it was paid for with dirty money and then still wear it?

One question which I don’t think has been asked is what happened with that motorhome? Did it just sit on the drive and not get used? If not where did it go and who went on holiday in it?

I’m hoping someone who recently stayed on a campsite in Scotland goes through their holiday snaps and finds something like this.
