Peter Murrell is in court in Edinburgh today. This is for the preliminary hearing which was postponed from before the election. It will be interesting to see how the criminal proceedings proceed.

Pete Wishart has been going above and beyond on "transwomen should be in women's single sex spaces" too.

She is very likely to have tipped them off (presumably not expecting they would pick such mean photos), but why? She must have had her own agenda at play, but very hard to see what it was, other than 'look at me having fun in my new life', which isn't terribly strategic. And surely she would have anticipated the reaction about being seen in that context with Claire Mitchell who is supposedly representing the bereaved families in the Covid inquiry - it's a very bad look and raises all sorts of issues around conflicts of interest.

She deserves all she gets!

I can't remember the comic sketch it came from but there was one years ago featuring, I think Robbie Coltrane, in a song mocking the Scottish "patriots" who live anywhere but Scotland. It had the chorus "that's why - he's living in London, living in London"

How many times has it been said on these threads though, the whole "establishment" in Scotland of top legal officials, politicians and civil servants is totally incestuous. It's such a small pool of people that they all know each other, went to school/uni together, work together.

And they haven't the brain cells to realise that conflict of interest is a thing. Urgh.

Anwar is the one defending Sturgeon in the embezzlement case…his other claim to fame is defending the brothers who attacked the police and punched the woman cop in the face at the airport 😟x

I recall that on Twitter certain pro-Indy supporters used to refer to him as 'Comfy Slippers Pete', in that he was quite comfortable taking an MP's wage and really not all that interested independence.
