Exam results 2024

Thought I'd get started on the exam results thread as we have a month to go!
I think, as a parent, I'm more nervous about this year (Highers) than last year (N5) as the Higher results will influence university applications.
DD tells me she's not thinking about her exams, but then she throws into conversation how 'super smart' her friends are and how they will probably get As, and also has asked me if our postcode is eligible for widening access (it isn't) so it appears to me that she IS thinking / worrying about her results.
We do have a holiday coming up which will hopefully help us all relax.
How are other kids doing?

We’ve done alright here. B, C and D. Plus passes in Nat 4.

Nowt here - were wondering if she’s still asleep???

Not sure whether DD’s are slow to come through or if she’s got them and doesn’t want to tell us. Which means bad news. She’s def awake.

So we received a blank email !!!??????

My DD has her phone turned off as she prefers a good nights sleep so no idea when she will surface. Just hoping for some Nat5 passes here, she struggles a lot and it would give her confidence a much needed boost.
Well done to those so far :-)

DS has said I can wake him at 8.30. We are waiting for Nat 5 results. He is worried about Biology and Maths. Biology doesn't really matter, but really needs to get a B in Maths or he'll be resitting.

Very happy here. DD all smiles but now back in bed! I hope all of you who got a blank email get a proper email soon and the postie gets to everyone before lunchtime.
