Rory.

Rory which is the anglicised version. Proper Gaelic spelling is Ruaridh though.

Central belt Scotland, I hear rooree as much as Rory

Most I know, with various spellings, say Rooree, occasionally a Roo ah ree.

The only ones pronounced Rory spell it like that.

I'm not saying that's technically correct, just what I've come across.

You can have both but I think with the Ruridh spelling it's roo ri.

Ruari (Irish) and Ruairidh (Scottish) are very similar.

Ruari I would pronounce with a slightly softer Roo-ree instead of Rory. Personally prefer the Rory sound.

In lreland its the lrish for Rory and pronounced Roo.ree

Ruah-rih is how I'd pronounce it as a Scottish person.
Roo-ree is common too.
Rory is a completely different name.

Definitely not Rory. The correct pronunciation is “Roo-ree”. There are a few ways to spell it but.
