It's things like the lack of cooking lessons in school too. Whilst to be fair I mostly learned to cook at home, the availability of ready meals/takeaways combined with working parents has sadly reduced this for some DC. This is where school cooking lessons are invaluable. But there is a shortage of HomeEc teachers and those we have are needed to concentrate on exam classes.
Then we have the loss of school class swimming lessons. Swimming is still a reasonably priced activity for DC to do at weekends if they aren't involved/can't afford to be doing other sports.
When I was a child the local pools did a cheap entry on a sat/sun and we'd spend most of the day there and get a shower after saving my mum the cost of hot water for baths.
I grew up in the 60s/70s in poverty but I think I was fitter and healthier than modern day kids. My DC have had a very different upbringing to me but I still made sure they could cook the basics as luckily I had the skills and budget to be able to do that and pay for swimming lessons etc. I feel so sad for kids missing out on these sorts of things.
