Hmm @PersonaNonGarter I seem to remember something about wallpaper... and something about non dom status... and PPE

Taking each in turn:

• Wallpaper - no fraud, theft or crime carried out
. Non-Dom - no fraud, theft or crime carried out
. PPE - crime committed by Michelle BraLady (not any of the politicians you tried to implicate)

This is WHY people think the SNP are not fit to govern. Because they think everyone is ‘as bad’ but they aren’t. Too stupid to do details. (Unlike the police and lawyers)

@NowThatsWhatICall22 you have a very strange sense of humour

All attempts to discuss forensic tent sizing unfairness, justice for home makeover crimes, insert anything to do with ‘Westminster’/‘Boris’/‘Tories’ are all utterly wasted today.

Go and have a lie down, it must be exhausting keeping the faith.

Rainbowshit · 05/04/2023 16:00

WTAF?!? Sky News correspondent reporting that they are digging up their garden?!?!

What the hell are they looking for?! Is this for real?

🤣🤣🤣🤣 in stitches at the but Westminster replies! Christ alive if a swarm of midges ate some people alive on the shores of Loch Lomond it would still be Westminsters fault!

The tent by the way will be for privacy because it attracts a big media attention (the street will be swarming with media vans..... I'm awaiting a parking AIBU from a neighbour on MN!) Media who have very good zoom lenses and the police would not want to risk a case due to evidence issues!

All the bolstering about SNP being different, we aren't a boys club and we are honest in politics has certainly begun to unravel.

Will await media updates whilst I chuckle again!

YetMoreNewBeginnings · 05/04/2023 16:05

That’s very odd to have tents up at the front and then openly dig at the back.

GrouchyKiwi · 05/04/2023 16:06

Literally buried the records?

This is so bizarre!

It's very odd isn't it?!

Can't be anything particularly forensic as they're not wearing white suits.

Really baffling and intriguing!

Sky News live reporting now that there is a lot of activity in the rear garden. Blue tarpaulins on the ground there, sightings of garden equipment, laptops, lots of activity.

Also that the blue and white tent at the front is housing a vehicle.

ThatsGenderwang · 05/04/2023 16:09

The Sky News reporter says it was a neighbour who told them that Sturgeon left shortly before the police arrived.

The neighbours will be getting a cracking view of all this, round the back.

GrouchyKiwi · 05/04/2023 16:10

I would be AGOG.

@Scottishskifun and others I'm glad you can chuckle at this... but while two wrongs don't make a right I do always wonder why people who hate independence/ SNP can't see anything wrong with the absolute corruption and blatant lies going on at Westminster- it's not ok either.
At least the Scottish police have investigated...

PersonaNonGarter · 05/04/2023 16:17

I love the garden digging!! I mean, that’s next level baddie-ing. There is no Oops, must have put the numbers in the wrong column…

Rainbowshit · 05/04/2023 16:17

@ismu why on earth would you think anyone is ok with Westminster corruption?!!!

You on the other hand seen to be excusing SNP corruption. Why is that?

OP posts:
PersonaNonGarter · 05/04/2023 16:19

FGS @ismu you are deluded - ‘The police are investigating our politicians so that shows we are less corrupt’ is not the clever argument that you think it is.

ThatsGenderwang · 05/04/2023 16:20

Maybe the police are emptying and searching a garden shed / home office chalet type thing in the rear garden. I've got a friend with one and he keeps it absolutely stuffed with overspill paperwork and old laptops.

I'll take one for the team and keep Sky on in the background and see if there's an update. This really is bizarre, as pp says.

YetMoreNewBeginnings · 05/04/2023 16:22

It’s got a touch of the Cliff Richard feel about it with the press and speculations.

Hopefully nothing is jeopardised by the long lenses, drones or speculation.

Its very very bizarre.

NicolaSturGONE · 05/04/2023 16:24

If you look on twitter, neighbours are putting drones up etc so no wonder they've got tents up for privacy, to hide what they are doing.

As for the 'what about westminster', give me a fucking break, crime is handled differently in Scotland. You've have a better argument if we weren't devolved. Rather ironic given the 'what-about-ers' are independence supporters. No wonder Scotland's such a mess if these are the voters choosing the SNP.

YetMoreNewBeginnings · 05/04/2023 16:27

It’s weird that they’ve got so much tenting up at the front, yet none at the back where they’re moving around with spades and digging equipment.

that’s what’s making it odd imo.

ismu · 05/04/2023 16:29

@NicolaSturGONE yes crime is handled differently in Scotland... so Boris / Rishi etc saying oops !forgive me isn't enough. Can't you hate them as well as the SNP? Because if you like one kind of corruption but not another that's kind of a problem as well
This is truly bizarre but I still have no idea what the outcome will be- there's no certainty they will charge him.
But making a bloody good show of investigating

What makes you think I don't hate the Tories?

of course anyone who hates the SNP must be a Tory eye roll

WaterBaby9 · 05/04/2023 16:32

I was so suprised. Mainly because i always thought she was a lesbian 😂

Independentscotland · 05/04/2023 14:48

The police are involved because of potential crime. Any decision to charge will be made by the CPS. And guilt ultimately determined by the courts. As i say I have no skin in this game, there’s not enough information to come to any conclusion.

We don't have the CPS in Scotland
there is of course the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service
