Limited Indoor mixing in private households is just guidance isn't it? Such an awful shame for hospitality, which could arguably be safer - enforced spacing, numbers etc.

We're due to visit family in England after Christmas so waiting for news on what WM announce.

I think the problem with our ‘cautious’ approach is that there’s never really been any real let up.
I would find it easier to take if I felt we’d had a decent few months but none of this year has really felt normal and we’ve been bombarded with messages of doom even when things were fine.
Now when they are less fine we’ve all well and truly had enough.
Remember the numbers moray had when reopening was delayed? Farcical with what followed

We were told that our cautious approach and never ending restrictions would lead to benefits. Have they fuck, I agree @Calmdown14

Only good thing is that my pessimism has been vindicated 😃

This will just be the start as usual . I’ll be amazed if schools go back when they are meant to

No alcohol bans though thankfully. That was the most nonsensical of the previous restrictions. Yes it's fine to go for a sit doon meal with your mask off, but if the demon drink is involved, all bets are off.

I’ve never wavered on thinking for ourselves- I’m hoping more folk will now see sense and really not change any plans because governments say so.

Don’t have the energy to rail further because I am just so annoyed that we’re here all over again and we are- again- being made to think it’s our behaviour that needs to be curtailed.

As for the ‘for three weeks’ BS, don’t patronise us with thatXmas Angry

Me too. But no wee ones to be disappointed here. My compensatory trip to Edinburgh and the races was my only thing and it’s cancelled. Tired and sad. It’s quite tiring being a single parent and child free time precious - not really wanting another week sitting at home

Agree with all the railing I'm done we leave tomorrow for England and although there are restrictions too at least I escape from daily what is she appearing with next!

I'm done with whatever she comes out with. Yes I am restricted to whats open but am I heck going back to listening that my friends are dangerous risk to my family!

Clearly not learned you can't control a virus and actually should have spent time and money boosting health services.
