I’m focusing on staying busy today. Unfortunately had to cut my run short as needed the toilet and lack of public ones open this time of year.
Have made cakes but still need ti decorate and have tidied up garden as much as I can until I can go to dump on Friday.

I would like to rail that bloody JL keeps popping up on the radio and tv adverts way too much for my liking. That voice is stuff of nightmares!

I'm railing against John Swinney today (not for the first time). After the nation being on pins for days waiting for Nicola's announcement yesterday the BBC is reporting he's said more restrictions could be introduced before Christmas. Completely sick of this approach, it just increases worry and anxiety.

Agree, tell Swinney it's time for his holidays, and keep the message and the fear mongering to NS.

FFS! Googling symptoms of covid as I'm wondering if I should get a PCR test. Delta varient tests still require you to have the same 3 main symptoms, but Omicron varient symptoms are so hazy. Yesterday afternoon started with what felt like a head cold, couldn't stop sneezing, runny nose, headache and bit of a sore throat. Negative LFT. Today, apart from a bit of a headache, all other symptoms have gone. Do I
A: Go for a PCR and lie about symptoms or
B: Accept it was probably a wierdly random 12 hour cold thing?

Depends what your Christmas plans are @Justmuddlingalong . Personally I'd keep doing the lateral flows on a daily basis and avoid the elderly. If I was planning to visit the DPs for Christmas - they've banned us- then I might see if I could get a PCR.

@Justmuddlingalong, I'd accept the Latflow as negative. Sod isolating, for 24 hrs to get results of a PCR.

I wouldn't go for PCR after a negative flow test unless I had a temperature/ taste issues, ie something more serious than a cold was wrong with me.

I rather not see any of them on my TV mind.

I'm much happier watching Disney+ with DS these days and avoiding the news.
