Am I right in saying teachers can now go to pubs, cinemas, nightclubs with no social distancing from a load of strangers but have to keep 1m distance from their colleagues in school?

I'm quite happy to stay 1m away from my colleagues. No need for any of that breathing down your neck stuff that some do. 2m was harder to achieve mind you.

So I could have every customer from Sainsbury's squeezed into my livingroom with no distancing or masks but still have to wear one in the giant store? She is as thick as her sister.

What has compounded my anger is the way NS spoke to Douglas Ross. I’m no fan of him but he’s the leader of one of the opposition parties. She reacts like nobody can question her or they are foolish and just don’t understand her. Her face when questioned is just . We are turning into a dictatorship. She’s the FM- she should welcome scrutiny and challenge.
Surely nobody buys this “och Nicola’s doing a great job of keeping us all safe” shit now are they?!

Though as happypumpkin points out, you can do your carousing in whatever state of dress you want...as long as it includes a face covering don't want to picture how that may be interpreted in some venues...

Yup. And all the staff too. And you could snog them, cuddle them, cough and spit on them all evening and that's absolutely fine.

But in their shop - where let's face it there's likely to be less of the snogging and cuddling - you have to wear your magic mask.

Lots of people are buying it. Mostly people with pre-school children/grandchildren, or people who don't have kids at school or don't know any teachers.

Plus lots of people dislike Boris, so doing the opposite to Boris is automatically a good thing.

Good point. But there may be more availability as they won't need to limit people in the swimming pool/ restaurant/ enormous outside grounds yes Historic Scotland, I AM looking at you And yes. Noisy, unnecessary and really annoying indoor eating is obviously going to be the way forward. Sigh.

So, mass orgy indoors or out is fine. Walking round a half empty supermarket is risky as feck. Mask on a train (looking at you thicko sturgeons sister) but can take it off at a restaurant table but still need to wear it for the 5 steps from the door or to go to the loo?

I don't have kids at school or am particularly cosy with any teachers but i have half a brain so can work it out.

Nothing said about Unis I take it so they can do what they want to? Which in a lot of cases will be to keep blended or remote I suppose. Might be another year of paying rent when DS hasn't stepped foot in the Uni since march 2020.
