I'm so angry that the new tier levels will be based on case rates again, rather than hospital admissions. What is the point of the vaccine.

That’s what’s puzzling me @Drive.

They promised us the vaccine was the way out.

And yet we'll still be thrown in with Glasgow because that's where the hospitals are... despite our local authority having under the 50/100k.

oh me too cis must be some system issue. I've said it before but since we're having a bit of Groundhog Day, overall, I see no evidence that if we are good little boys and girls this summer we WILL avoid a ground hog Christmas lockdown.

We're not an island, we never will be whatever we do politically and there will never be a hard border all along the Southern boundary, so if a vaccine resistant new variant DOES come along, we're all toast and none of this elaborate matrix of nonsense tiers will make a whole heap of difference to that.

If we are to get a vaccine resistant strain then bugger it, let’s live while we can!
