As the conversation is interesting and the thread is nearly full. Does it matter if Sturgeon is guilty - do you know or care? www.mumsnet.com/Talk/scotsnet/4153007-Does-it-matter-if-Sturgeon-is-guilty-do-you-know-or-care

ha ha ha, I love the 'head wobble' on the bingo card.

I prefer to view it as Nicola trying to head butt someone.

RaspberryCoulis · 03/03/2021 08:39

Charlie Kennedy was a troubled soul. The hounding the poor man suffered was indeed horrendous.

Blackford is a nasty bully. And his wife not much better.

Happinessisawarmcervix · 03/03/2021 08:42

People are still trying to brush this off as “forgetting about a meeting date.” Here’s a section from Craig Murray’s sworn affidavit - he alleges the attempted rape allegation was known to be false and was part of a deal between Murrell and a person who wanted to return to SNP politics.

I think this is what Salmond was referring to as the worst thing he had read in his life towards the end of his evidence.

It can’t be proven without breaching the anonymity of the accuser.

The comments on the wings article are flying pretty close to the wind. At some point that dam might just break.

I am flabbergasted by it all. The legal advice is more damning than I imagined. What can NS possibly say today.

I’m still not sure that I can believe in a conspiracy over total mismanagement but who knows at this point.

LoisWilkersonslastnerve · 03/03/2021 09:12

Charles Kennedy was popular with the public, despite his personal issues so of course he had to be stamped on. It was awful, I remember at the time but had no idea how bad it was. Poor man.

Blurberoo · 03/03/2021 09:13

Surely Craig Murray’s case will be dismissed now!

WouldBeGood · 03/03/2021 09:14

I’m watching. She’s just reading out a pre-prepared statement just now

WouldBeGood · 03/03/2021 09:15

And reading very fast

Nipoleonthenoncommital · 03/03/2021 09:16

I've a teams call in 5 so can't watch 😩

Dinnafashyersel · 03/03/2021 09:18

Not sure any of this coming out now affects Craig Murray's case. It would be pretty embarrassing if it still went ahead but that decision is not up to the SG but the prosecution service / courts.

Iirc someone has already been sentenced for contempt of court in relation to a similar issue.

It would be acutely embarrassing.

Dinnafashyersel · 03/03/2021 09:19

Should learn to proof read Blush

daisyfraser · 03/03/2021 09:21

What a piece of work she is - linking her sorry ass to #meetoo.
Just hope the questioners expose her soon and don't let go

Dinnafashyersel · 03/03/2021 09:23

Glenn Campbell wittering on about Parliamentary arithmetic. Pretty irrelevant when they are about to go into recess for the election. I may not proof read but at least I'm not a fully paid up embarrassment to journalism.

I see Nicola's going for the "it's all about the poor women" approach.
Not in This Woman's Name.

LizzieMacQueen · 03/03/2021 09:23

Listening on Radio Scotland just now, not sure if they're covering it all morning. She does sound a bit shaky.

daisyfraser · 03/03/2021 09:23

And starting off with generally slagging Salmond too.

Dinnafashyersel · 03/03/2021 09:24

Exactly Daisy

StatisticallyChallenged · 03/03/2021 09:24

Just tuned in. She's apologised to the women.

littlbrowndog · 03/03/2021 09:26

Going same route as swinney this morning.

Copious amounts of documents.

OldRailer · 03/03/2021 09:26

In mitigation I keep thinking they went down this path in a fit of righteousness wrt metoo.

Probably naive / missing the internal political side of this.

daisyfraser · 03/03/2021 09:26

First question about pledging to provide info and not doing so and she sounds like she was about to tell Margaret Mitchell off for something.

OldRailer · 03/03/2021 09:27

As in I am naive and lacking in knowledge that would explain this.

anon444877 · 03/03/2021 09:27

I hope she's also going to apologise to the women for misusing victim protection to protect herself.

StatisticallyChallenged · 03/03/2021 09:31

Still denying that she knew before the 2nd, but that she'd thought since November that these kind of allegations might rear their head about Alex. So when they created the policy she must have at least suspected it would be used on him

hilbil21 · 03/03/2021 09:31

She definitely doesn't like not being able to rule the roost!

WaxOnFeckOff · 03/03/2021 09:32

Oh it wisnae down to me, I excused myself so another person didn't provide it and that's nothing to do with me, blah blah blah.
