jabba you just made my day I'd missed that. I have nothing against Monica but I just felt Anas has got a bit more experience and nouse dealing with the bear traps.

StatisticallyChallenged · 27/02/2021 11:29

Do any of you know if B&Q is fully open? I need some stuff for the garden and lots of it isn't on click & collect but is listed as in stock.

Dinnafashyersel · 27/02/2021 11:30

Ian Martin:
"Don't know if it will work, but one of the good things about
Anas Sarwar is that his demeanor is optimistic. Nice contrast to the SNP, always looking unhappy and angry about everything, about as much fun as a Church of Scotland minister reading the Sunday Post in 1953."

That's the sort of thing I mean.

WaxOnFeckOff · 27/02/2021 11:32

I think b & q is pretty much open in store, I've not been but friend works there and forever moaning about the non essentials being bought. We don't agree on everything. Smile

anon444877 · 27/02/2021 11:38

what sort of irresponsible idiot would combine a day trip to Alnmouth with raiding Alnwick supermarkets for booze offers? I'm shocked. Where are those pearls.

Good news re Anas, you definitely need to avoid bear traps in Scottish politics!

I must organise joining the zoo again.

StatisticallyChallenged · 27/02/2021 11:39

Well I need some plant food, and my cats eat the plants so it's basically pet food, right? (yes, I'm very careful what I plant!)

WaxOnFeckOff · 27/02/2021 11:44

Definitely pet food. It's OK, friend both hates and needs her job, I think she'd like to be furloughed but instead has to keep selling random stuff to random people. The friend we have in common is a big customer, always has a project on the go and works out when B&Q friend is on shift to avoid going then.

Lockdownbear · 27/02/2021 11:50

I don't know that irresponsible is the word. Perfectly responsible to look after the dosh in your own wallet. Just as long as you buy enough to make enough savings to balance off the additonal fuel costs.

Mr G never made his appointment. The GP at the Western saw his notes, contacted his team at the RIE and has had him admitted. He's got a high temp, high BP, so antibiotics, bloods and a bed on a ward.

The kids and I are at home, ordered lunch and I'm just trying not to stress.

All the best to Mr G.
Treat yourself, do what you need to do to get through this, Groovee

DH went to B&Q yesterday. Apparently it was going like a fair, no restrictions, shelves full. Ignore what's on their website, must be for optics only.

AgentCooper · 27/02/2021 14:48

Thinking of you @Groovee and Mr G Flowers

Nipoleonthenoncommital · 27/02/2021 14:49
