I've just had an online coffee with my mum who had lots of stories of friends of hers being jagged so it definitely feels to me like things are moving.
Lots of folk in their early 70s and a fair few late 60s also. My parents are 69 so not quite in the 70+ category but their gp surgery seems to be moving quite slowly in comparison to their friends. They've not heard a thing and neither has my aunt at their same surgery who's 73. My brother who was a shielder is getting his on Monday. Same gp surgery as my parents, so it all seems a bit random still.
But I guess every single person done reduces the overall risk by a tiny amount. When I spoke to my parents last week they hadn't heard of anyone even getting an appointment so a lot has definitely changed in a week.
I'll be so relieved when my parents are done, I'm almost holding my breath waiting.
Oh and my 88 yr old housebound mil with 4 x 2 carers in and out her house every day is still waiting for her home visit.
