@runningpink

Thanks *@WouldBeGood*

I hate her, I actually properly hate her now. Edinburgh should be in level 2 😡

Are you tier 4s getting actual 3 or a variation of level 3?

Running I really am starting to hate her too. I'm starting to really understand the hate folk had for Maggie Thatcher.
WaxOnFeckOff · 08/12/2020 15:04

Glad to hear someone tried to stick up for us. I'd switched off by then as can't stand listening to her.

Did we get any fake tears?

anon444877 · 08/12/2020 15:10

dh was nursing hopes of a sunny getaway, I wasn't, I didn't think they were going to jettison the extreme nannying and let us manage our own risks. Bleurgh.

WouldBeGood · 08/12/2020 15:13

I’m feeling very flat and sick of all this

anon444877 · 08/12/2020 15:14

I'll try and hold onto the fact that the vaccine rollout hopefully means the end of the circus is in sight.

Bikingbear · 08/12/2020 15:16

The no travel is a real PITA, Glasgow is a major shopping centre for the whole of West Cental Scotland.
I'm also peeved that DS can't get to skiing at Bellahouston.

Bikingbear · 08/12/2020 15:17

Has she messed with the schools?

WouldBeGood · 08/12/2020 15:21

Are we really not allowed to Glasgow?

user1487194234 · 08/12/2020 15:23

Can't travel in from suburbs to shop in Glasgow. She can fuck off with that .Literally unbelievable

Bikingbear · 08/12/2020 15:25

No travel in or out of T3 areas.

I really would join a protest against these hideous restrictions. I wish the good folk who are able to organise such things would actually do it.

Perihelion · 08/12/2020 15:26

Totally unsurprised at Edinburgh staying in level 3.
RaspberryCoulis Gulliano's for the Italian by the bridge at the Shore.

WouldBeGood · 08/12/2020 15:28

This is just fucking outrageous

user1487194234 · 08/12/2020 15:32

I am not in any way a fan,but I seriously despise her now

theotherfossilsister · 08/12/2020 15:39

I am so utterly furious. We did everything to get into level three, and it's not enough. It's like Cinderella's Stepmother asking her to pick all the lentils from the ashes the turning round and laughing at her when she succeeds and saying 'as if I'd let you go to the ball.'

I feel like she hates us and is on a power trip. I really need to rein it in, just upset that she is taking jobs/local pubs/the ability to see friends safely away from us.

Of course, we can all queue on a Sunday outside a brunch place for an hour in the cold, get let in with everyone else who has the same idea.

@RaspberryCoulis I don't know that pizzeria, there's a nice one called Origano?x

theotherfossilsister · 08/12/2020 15:41

Ah yes Guiliano's, is it good?

I am actually seriously tempted to say 'fuck it' and invite friends over to dinner, as we did all we could to comply and it wasn't enough. I won't because I'm a bit more of a wuss than I appear on here, but I'd like to.

Would also be lovely to have a cafe open until seven so I can walk home safely.

Bytheloch · 08/12/2020 15:42

The Swinneybot is up today too with a school announcement, unless I’ve misunderstood that?

Y0uCann0tBeSer10us · 08/12/2020 15:42

So the travel restrictions keeping us all in our local authority areas remain in place, is that right? Is this guidance or actually law (i.e. you could be fined for it)?

JamesMoriarty · 08/12/2020 15:42

The Glasgow shopping rule is ridiculous. The shopping centres in the surrounding areas aren't great at all.

Bytheloch · 08/12/2020 15:46

Exams cancelled for next year🤦‍♀️
That’s a whole other thread needed.

No that wasn't it... looking on Google maps it was where Granary is now, on the corner of Shore and Bernard Street. It's probably changed hands dozens of times, last time I was in was probably about 1986.

Was very pleased to see that the Deep Sea chippie opposite the Playhouse is still there.

JudgeRindersMinder · 08/12/2020 15:49

Dundee staying in 3, so that’s hospitality even more fucked than it was already. Apparently titler had a “lump in her throat” when the first vaccination was done...she always has to make it about her doesn’t she.

StatisticallyChallenged · 08/12/2020 15:52

This is just ridiculous, edinburgh is at 68 per 100000. That's tier 1 level never mind tier 2 (tier 2 threshold is 75)

Narcissism tier 99 achieved.

FFS now level 2 & there’s no bloody point because everywhere we want to go is 3

She needs to remember that being questioned is a good thing, it's an essential part of the democratic process.
Not sure she’s a fan of democracy...
