DS drove from our T4 to his T2 a couple of weeks ago and was fine, even if he is a germ ridden Student. I'd go for it hilbil. I think we plan to go to Costco on Saturday. There isn't a Costco in our council area, that's not really our fault, DH's colleagues need a lasagna.

We are tier 2 (until tomorrow at least) and they're tier 2 in Engerland so I'm just going to plead absolute stupidity if we get stopped, and say I thought you could go from a 2 to a 2 the police don't know I'm not clueless lol. I'm normally such a rule abider but I'm completely and utterly over the whole shambles

I think you'll not be stopped as such, it would only be if you had another issue - speeding, out of date tax, accident etc. You are allowed to attend funerals or christenings etc. Just look up the local announcements and pick an event in the area you are heading to. Job done.

Hilbil, can anyone either you or friend be 'vulnerable'?
I don't mean to mimimalise really vulnerable people but vulnerable is a hard thing to define esp when mental health is taken into account.

I work in, shall we say, an area which equates to following rules and ensuring that others do. I don't even walk on the grass ffs. But this just has me boiling. I think it's why I feel so stressed as it's so stupid and inconsistent and I want to say fuck it. I've never even had a parking ticket or a fine for library book etc

@WaxOnFeckOff I'm the same. Never been in trouble for anything in my life. If a bit of litter blows out the car door I'm chasing it down the car park etc.... but this is just getting beyond a joke

@Bytheloch I may just say (as I'm sure plenty did when Dominic went to the castle) "Oh well I thought it must be ok when William and Kate did it on Monday) I have at least 10 friends who have no clue what the rules are and message me to check quite often. I don't drive, my husband works away and goes away on the 16th for 3 weeks (I'm an only child and both parents have passed away) so we won't benefit from the restrictions being lifted over Christmas. Just fancied a wee jolly to cheer me up before he escapes
