I don't even know why they still insist on daily briefings, I'm even cynical as to the time of day they do them. Seriously what percentage of adults have time in the middle of the day to listen?
At least when Boris does them he does it early evening when a high percentage of people are able to listen.

Does anyone know why the figures are so high for Argyll and Bute today? They have really jumped up and I am interested to know why. If they are historic figures which are just being included now then it is less worrying than if they are new cases.

If it is Faslane then that would make sense as the recent figures for the Garelochead area have been higher than elsewhere in A&B according to the map on the Scot Gov website. The map is a few days out of date though and so doesn't show the figures for today. I'll just have to wait a couple of days to find out.
