Eek it's only 18 days away!

Dd is convinced Nat5 maths will be another C. She's not too stressed about the highers results.

How's everyone else feeling about it?

AABBB here, one of the As not in expected subject which is both good and bad! Feeling relieved!

Nat 5

ABBC and a fail in physics which was totally expected.

DD is so happy and wants to get ready to go out already. I haven't even had a cup of tea yet

DS1 awake but no text or email.

We're still waiting for an email too - wish I hadn't woken DS at 8 now!

Still no email - am on fourth cup of coffee!

Good results here and for the kids of various friends on Facebook.

I'm assuming the results overall are good because Reporting Scotland isn't mentioning that at all but instead emphasising it won't be possible to know whether the attainment gap is narrowing for a month or so until more detailed analysis might be done

My boy is away but just phoned. ABBCC. Expected worse as he was going through a terrible time during exams. So pleased for him.

Still nothing. Girl on tv saying that a lot of her friends believe that they've signed up but haven't had results. I wonder if there is an issue with this?

Oh no!! How awful did you all and for your dcs. Mine both did text this year. 2 years ago DS1 didn't sign up for anything and we had to wait until 3.30PM for the postie to appear. Never ever again 🙈🙈

An A and 4 c's here and a dd crying in my lap. I think she did well to pass them all. Still proud of her.

DD made his first choice uni - Glasgow. Don't know what he got as he didn't sign up to text/email (he is still asleep) but DD hacked his UCAS track for me as I couldn't bear the wait.

Are we the only ones waiting for the postman?
Really regretting not pushing DS2 to register for a text or email but he's that rare thing, a teenager not at all bothered about phones and social media so it wasn't really on his radar.

If he gets 5A's i'll be so tempted to put a post on the dreaded Facebook...at least partly to inspire other parents of struggling, quirky but intelligent children but also, if I'm honest for good old fashioned boasty reasons...so I won't, DS2 wouldn't like it and my mother wouldn't approve! Now I wish i hadn't mentioned 5 As, feels like tempting fate...rambling...don't suppose the postie will get here 'til @11.30...

I'm hoping they arrive before lunch, I want an excuse to go out for a slap up feed! Although I suppose we could do that anyway to distract us.

@mysqa_sam: Sorry to those still waiting, tests & emails all sent at 8. Emails can get held up by hosts to avoid spam issues. Texts are just going slow.

Thinking of you stressed out parents and hoping the kids got the grades they wanted

DD got slightly different grades from her offer so she's waiting to see if she gets her place . Have been checking track since 9.00 . She is beside herself with worry

Postie been. DS1 3As and 2Bs. DS2 1A, 1B, 2Cs, 1D, then awarded Nat4 for Maths and Chemistry. Not good for a boy of his intelligence.
