Just thought I would start this thread as the results day will be here before we know it as the summer is flying past!

Dd has already seen next year's timetable and has 4 exams in 5 days!

I'm reckoning postie at 11:50 but we'll see, I think he'll be later than normal due to extra post though so maybe 1ish?

WankersHacksandThieves · 09/08/2016 08:27

What you thinking groovee?

Steppenwolfe · 09/08/2016 08:30

hidingwithwine · 09/08/2016 08:31

That's still great dot! I've snuck into DS1's room as DH rang from work, but he's.....sleeping!! ConfusedShockGrinHmm

Kr1stina · 09/08/2016 08:32

DD got AAAAB for highers, with As in the ones she required so she's over the moon Star

Ours came in at 8:00 exactly and she's had texts from all her friends who got them just aftre 8am too . So I reckon it's safe to wake your sleeping kids

Groovee · 09/08/2016 08:32

I'm thinking Monday when they're allowed to meet with the school to discuss changes if needs be!

Just read the phone, woman

ootsideinbacktaefront · 09/08/2016 08:33

7 A's!! I'm in shock, clever boy, so proud.

Lidlfix · 09/08/2016 08:34

B for History
B for English
C for PE
NA for Biology

She's happy with that potential for tough conditionals or strong college applications or a modern apprenticeship. Definitely doing S6 so time think things over Smile

Hope others are out of misery soon. Congrats Doglover -you know where we are!

Steppenwolfe · 09/08/2016 08:34

C'mon hiding ... tell him mumsnet Scotland is waiting 😂#ringthehousephone

Kr1stina · 09/08/2016 08:34

Grooveee - our school is open for the next few days, are you sure it's Monday ?

We were told by the HT that kids who want to change courses for next week have to come into school this week WITH THEIR PARENT

WankersHacksandThieves · 09/08/2016 08:35

Wow, great results all round! Well done those kids and big kids.

Kr1stina · 09/08/2016 08:36

Grin at #hooverthelanding

WankersHacksandThieves · 09/08/2016 08:38

I can hear that DS1 is up, what's the chances he signed up and is just pretending that he hasn't? This is normal for him to be up at this time though.

hidingwithwine · 09/08/2016 08:41

Our school won't be open for kids until next Wednesday. DS1 is rarely up at this time, and seeing how he falls apart in exams I'm not eager to start of day of woe before I need to pessimist

Kr1stina · 09/08/2016 08:43

Hiding Flowers

hidingwithwine · 09/08/2016 08:44

DS1's phone that I pay a fortune every month for is locked. He's not completely daft Grin

Steppenwolfe · 09/08/2016 08:46

Oh Hiding Flowers ... we're here with you !
DD is up looking at everyone else's results... quite agonising 😯

Lidlfix · 09/08/2016 08:49

Wanker that's exactly what DD2 did last year. We were on holiday and she was worried her results would spoil our last few days if they weren't good. Sadthey were fine. I promise I'm not a horrible maw.

Happy birthday to DS2Cake

Groovee · 09/08/2016 08:56

Yes school tweeted the times for Monday Kr1stina.

Wish I'd known I could have got dd to sign up my number too! This is killing me x

Lidl, thank you, hopefully your DD is better pleased with this years results, not everyone in the world is academic or can be successful in exams, I am sure with her obviously compassionate nature and determination, she can find her niche and make a great success of her life. Be damned what anyone else gets, she has done well.

Cadsuane · 09/08/2016 09:01

Nat 5: 6 at A and two at B. So proud of her. The Bs were in eng and French. As in Chem, Computing, drama, maths, history and physics. So for Higher it will be Chemistry, Biology, Computing, Maths and English.

wigglybeezer · 09/08/2016 09:06

I shouldn't have checked in here, I now feel all jittery! We are waiting for the letter...

hidingwithwine · 09/08/2016 09:07

He came crashing into my bedroom as I came out the shower Grin

I think he'll get his English remarked, otherwise he'll have to drop AH, but A's and B's for the rest.

He's smiling and ringing the grannies now. Different from last year relief
