Results Day 2016 for Nats/Highers/Advanced Highers

Just thought I would start this thread as the results day will be here before we know it as the summer is flying past!

Dd has already seen next year's timetable and has 4 exams in 5 days!

I'm feeling quite nervous. Wish 8am would hurry up!!

DD had such a rubbish year health wise I just hope she does ok. She is currently asleep and I'm the one panicking!!

I'm up and working, whole house still asleep. Then a wait on postie for DS1 and birthday stuff for DS2.

Dds godmother has been as bad as me. Be glad when we finally know. Happy birthday to your Ds Wankers X

Both mine still in primary, just posting to wish all of you well. More so your dc's. I remember leaving school with nothin after being predicted to achieve 7 A's and 6 B's.
That's what happens when your mum decides to have a massive stroke the night before your first exam!
Choose to be at hospital rather than sit exams!

I haven't braved DS1's room, I'll let him come to me when he knows. Trying to force a cuppa and a Tunnocks caramel wafer down my neck but too choked up. Good luck everyone.

Well done. Dd has asked to be left till 9 to make sure they are in. Dd2 is so worried for her big sister so she will be fun in 2 years time when it's her turn.

Good results so far, hope it continues. I'm working from home, have been since half 6, got loads done despite mn ing.

4 As, 2Bs and a C for DD. So pleased for her, it's been such a tough year!

The problem with letting DS1 come and tell me is I dunno when he actually knows. So he could know but be devastated, or waiting for me to go and see. I'll wait until I know some of his friends have results and maybe look in. Now I'm freaking that he already knows and they're so bad he doesn't want to well me.

This was much easier back in the day. Wait for postie, get results. No one knew unless you phoned them....

Dd didn't get the 4 As I had hoped for, but got

AH German B
AH Modern Studies B
Nat 5 Mandarin B

The music counted the most as she hopes to study music at Uni, so that's good and she'll be allowed to appeal for a remark on the other 3 as she was ill for a good part of 6th year with thyroid disease and missed about 20% of school. There's also a note in about her German exam as she spent the first 40 mins of the exam trying to work with a steel band practicing outside her small exam room. Hopefully, if they're close to As she might get them bumped up.

Really glad most people are seeing the results they hoped for!

Ah good so far, dot dot, those results are still great, I hope she isn't disappointed!
