Thought to start this after yesterday I got treated with following:

'...your leaking boobs are not exactly helping with my libido!' - - said as a rude joke (they're ok in our relationship but this has gone waaaay to far!) and followed by tons of appologies for the rest of the evening.

I forgave but will never forget.

Would you like to share yours if any?

We live in a townhouse which does not have a fenced-in garden, only a patio that is open to the common green. DS loves being outside, and as he's a fast little runner (he's now 20 months old) taking him out on the patio means I'm constantly shouting "stay here Jack!", "no Jack, no running" which is really not fun for either of us . So we go to parks and playgrounds until he learns to stay on our patio, if ever.

I was telling DH that in the next year or two I'd really like to look at moving to a house with a fenced garden, no matter how small, so that DS can be outside and ride his trike and have outside toys and a blow-up pool etc.

DH said "you only want a fenced-in garden so you can sit there while he plays and read a book".

I have not forgiven this remark, probably won't, and told all my girlfriends he said this. To which my closest friend said "at least he didn't say "so you can read a book and drink wine" which made me ROFL. It's funny from a girlfriend. Not Funny from DH.

From ex BF?s and 1 ex husband:

?I prefer so and so?s looks to be honest?

?..no, they aren?t quite a pert now since you have started running? (they wern't that bad)

Best of all ?you won?t last two minutes without me??.ha ha, needless to say he didn?t see me for dust and I spent the next few years proving him wrong (he is who I think of when ?I will survive? come on?so despite being very happily partnered up now I dance in remembrance of the inspiration that his nasty words gave me!!!!)

Best one ever from dh was when he asked me what I would like for my birthday one year, and I very tentatively suggested that perhaps a piece of jewellery might be nice. He thought about this for a moment then came out with "That would be a bit like putting makeup on a gargoyle, wouldn't it?"
We are still married but I have developed a VERY thick skin over the years - and twenty five years later he did buy me a beautiful piece of jewellery.
