Friend very nasty

In short ive not been well. Friend hadn't asked jiw i eas. I challenged her and she said she's been busy. I said nobody is too busy to say how are you. The. A few days later she said how are you the. A few weeks she suddenly blocked me on wassap. I was trying to phone her. Couldn't get through then she tried ringing me but I still wasn't well so couldn't answer as phone off. I wrote her a letter explaining its wasn't well etc and that I had been blocked suddenly I was unblocked from. Wassap and told her id written to her and she replied saying dont send stupid letters. All letters will be destroyed without reading and then she blocked me again. What a nasty person.

Just leave them be. Not worth your time or effort in either thought or action.

Im much better now. I dont understand her because last Christmas she gave me a lovely Christmas card which must have cost about £4 ,so it wasn't a cheap flimsy card out of a box of cards it was actually a beautiful card.

You can't make people care and I wouldn't have messaged her saying I was disappointed and anyone can make time to send a 'how are you' style message. You don't know what they have going on that you don't know about.

However, I would have just taken note and distanced myself from the friendship, she clearly isn't a friend.

Friends & Nasty don;t belong in the same sentence. She isn't a nice friend so don't give her your energy. Focus on good friends or find some more. hope you are feeling better.

OP has a lot of “friend” issues. She’s always posting about them.

I was not wellfor two weeks and she was communicating but never asked how I was and then blocked me for about 5 days and unblocked me and now im blocked

No i wrote a nice polite letter saying I was unwell and what the hospital said. I would have messaged her to tell her but I was blocked. I ended by saying I wish she would nit get ill. I didn't have a go at her at all.

Are you living in each other’s pockets?

I’m not sure I would always be aware that a friend was ill initially because we have all got a lot going on between family and just normal day to day life. However I would be concerned if I found out they were ill. Concern for people you are close to is normal.

The snapping texts back and forth and letters are all very dramatic.

I had a hard time understanding your message. But what I did get from it is maybe that there's been some kind of misunderstanding. This blocking and not talking to each other stuff is all so very boring and childish. That's not how adult friendships and relationships work.

Im sorry you have been unwell and that your "friend" has been unkind to you.
The thing is you cant make someone care about you or control their actions.
I don think writing to someone who has blocked you is wise,theyve made it clear by blocking you that they don't wish to hear from you.
This friend has shown you that she isnt your friend .
The "let them theory" springs to mind. You can't control other actions only your own.

She hasn't really got anything going on. She looks after an elderly man and does his housework in her free time and he pays her

But why? If someone blocks me I don't write them a letter giving them an update on my life.

She, for whatever reason doesn't want to be your friend. Just stop contacting her.

A letter which ends with ‘I wish you don’t get ill’ is a bit menacing op.
