So I decided to change the age settings on Hinge and got messaged by a guy who’s a lot younger than me. I’ll be honest, he’s 21 and I’m 49. I’m not looking for anything serious and neither is he. We find each other very attractive and have really hit it off. Should I go there??? Have you been there???

If the last two generations had their children at 20 and the dude is 21, then his grandmum would be 61. Most people aren’t having their kids until their late twenties or thirties, so she’s more likely his mum’s age.

Either way, even if it’s unusual, it’s not inherently wrong. OP doesn’t have to assist him financially or be involved with him in any way even if she does sleep with him.

You'd be surprised what men can find sexually attractive. 20 something men absolutely do enjoy sex with women in their late 40s. What they usually don't want is a relationship with a woman that much older.

But it's perfectly possible for a late 40s woman to attract a lover 20+ years her junior and it doesn't mean he wants money as some people are saying. He wants sex. Men have a wide variety of tastes when it comes to sex. They are more fussy about relationships. He won't be introducing OP to his family or friends or meeting hers. But he would still enjoy sex with her.

Young men told me they like older women because
Older women have moee wisdom and experience
Older women are interesting to talk to
Older women are generally more confident sexually
Many older women dont want anything serious

Have you not seen some of these holiday romance type shows? Some young men will have sex with an older woman who looks like Donald Trump in drag if they get something out of it.

Im in my 50’s and im my brief foray into OLD I was bombarded with messages from men 20/30 years younger telling me they prefer older.

Btw that’s not saying the OP doesn’t look good, just that there are a lot of young guys out there who want to tick the MILF/GILF box

you’re right though. I’d say generally speaking some men will have a fling with anyone they can.

It does not mean much attraction is involved unfortunately.
