Would a used condom still be wet one month later?

Help I moved with my fiance to a new house about a year ago. He never sold our old house but some furniture is still there. We sometimes go to our old house after date night for some sexy time as our kids are being cared for at the new house. We have been together 20 years and its rare we use a condom. What i found by the bed in the corner on the floor was a condom still wet but appears no semen. I used a condom over a month ago with him. My question is i am not sure if this is out condom i found as im sure we tossed it. I am trying to find out if you think a month old condom used out of packaging would still feel wet and oily? The next day when he was at work i went back to th old house and went through the trash hoping to find a green condom wrapper from the one we had used, but it was not there. Since we no longer live there daily there is a huge cardboard box we use as the trash and its mainly just to toss junk mail or paper products. I have not used condom in so long i honestly dont remember if one would still feel wet and oily after one month out of the packaging..please help im so worried.

How much is it costing to keep this house going? I'm just thinking of council tax and standing power charges, you could pay for a lot of hotel rooms for that.

I've had condoms in the bin for a few days. Definitely dried out in that time.

If it's only partially furnished I'd be thinking prostitutes. However, don't call it yet, but start investigating.

I'm usually pretty cynical, but if you have no other reason to suspect he's unfaithful, could it be possible he's let a mate stay there, and this hypothetical friend could have entertained someone?

If you'd said it's your old house that you're renovating to sell, or you'd rented it out but currently have no tenants, or ditto with air bnb, I could accept it. But having a part-time sex house just doesn't seem plausible.

Honestly I really can't help with your question OP but I have gotta say - if I have a second house just for an occasional peaceful shag with DP away from the kids then I will consider myself having made it in life

This may be farfetched, but a while ago I knew someone who allowed himself to be used as cover for a friend of his who was playing away. They all went out for tennis, and then the friend and the OW left together afterward. Could DP be "helping" someone by allowing them to use the house for trysts?

It could be anyone. Maybe neighbourhood teen couples looking for 'personal' space, a mate of your DH's, and sure, it could be your DH. But I doubt he'd leave evidence thrown in the corner.

Perhaps hidden cameras in the house. If it's empty you're not violating anyone & will find out pretty quickly if/who it is!

Instead of all the surreptitious cameras and trying out a condom to see how it dries out, if you’re truly worried that your husband was over at your second house being naughty, simply say to him, “I found the condom you used at the other house when I wasn’t there.”
