Hi i been watching a streamer for about 6 months got to know everyone in his lives etc all his gifters and new gifters i also gift occasionally. He's set up a group meet for everyone. He assumed i couldn't make it due to living 3 and half hours away but also didn't invite me. Just said shame i couldn't go but i wasn't outright asked. Is this a excuse that he didn't want me going. However none of us live bu each other where all dotted around the UK. I found it weird that i wasn't asked even if i were to say i couldn't go.

This is uncalled for. I agree it's unlikely OP will be able to stop but she's just posted that she's been at a funeral and is ill. Goady 'admit it' posts are nasty.

Sorry everyone went to funeral, yeah just had a bath and got belly upset due to the stresses of today o get bad ibs so just had bath and will probably relax put some pj's on and lay down in bed. I won't be going in to the live tonight

Perhaps you could watch a film and have a pamper session to make yourself feel better.

Face mask, nails etc.

You'll feel brilliant afterwards if you don't.

Totally agree. Let’s have some compassion and not punch down. Hang in there OP, like any addiction the less you do it the easier it gets. Well done for getting out and attending the funeral.

RobinHeartella · 22/01/2025 18:30

Rest up op. Don't log into the live stream. You can come back and tell us that you managed to resist the temptation, and we'll all be really pleased for you, and that might give you a dopamine hit to make up for the unhealthy one you'd have got logging into the stream.

You can do it, thousands of us rooting for you (as there are lurkers as well as commenters on here!)

Flowercandy · 22/01/2025 18:33

Uricon2 · 22/01/2025 17:41

Please don't get sucked in again @Flowercandy . Peopel on here have only been speaking the truth because it's a really unhealthy situation and although you might not feel you deserve better than this, you really do.

Thank you 💕

Ideas for keeping busy during the livestream hours... For me, I resist temptation more easily if I'm doing something useful.

You could do a load of laundry/ironing, batch cook, clean the bathroom, empty out drawers and cupboards and reorganise them. Put the radio on loud at the same time (unless your son is asleep ofc)

As she's feeling low I suggested earlier that she keep herself occupied with some self love such as doing her nails or a face pack pamper session.

I imagine that her self esteem is extremely low so as to be taken in by this streaming chump, so she needs to work on herself and find her self worth.

Yep just got in 2 bed now, I've ordered my food shop that's coming tomorrow and stuck some hair dye on the shopping basket to do Friday night as a treat 🛒

Well done. It's hard to break a habit and you've taken a big step to move on.

What colour is your hair dye?

@Chuchoter the term streaming chump has really made me laugh 😂 I know it's not a funny situation though. OP please please stop giving this horrible grifter money. Set up a savings account for your boy and put any money you'd gift this idiot into it. You're literally giving a random on the internet money when you could be saving it for your child's future.

Nice and bright. Little things like that go towards making you feel good about yourself.

Great colour choice! I hope you're doing okay today.

Have you deleted the streaming app from your phone? I think you mentioned getting notifications when the stream starts which can probably be very tempting.

You got this!

Dotty87 · 23/01/2025 10:25

I just wanted to pop back and offer some support, it's hard to break a long habit.

Keep going, delete the app, you've got this!

ChristmasFluff · 23/01/2025 10:51

You do need to delete the app completely. Otherwise you WILL going on - willpower is hard enough anyway, but having no hurdles to jump through (which gives you time to reconsider) will make it easier to give in to the urge to connect. When you go to bed, leave all your devices somewhere else too.

Honestly, I think you went on last night. There's no shame in that, because it is hard to break an addiction. But ruthless honesty, especially with yourself, is needed.

DontNeedAnyMoreClothes · 23/01/2025 15:49

Hi @Flowercandy how's your day been? What's your plan for this evening?

Flowercandy · 23/01/2025 18:41

Im having trouble with my landlord at them moment also the streamer isn't my only problem but the landlord problem has been a issue for sometime

OP posts:
Flowercandy · 23/01/2025 18:48

My landlord basically won't let me have my wheelie bin outside in the little entrance way and said i have to store them inside i don't fancy having blsck bags inside my place. He said he's having it removed tomorrow i phoned 101 they said ring them straight back if he takes it as its theft because i bought it myself

OP posts:
WhereElse · 23/01/2025 23:41

What is your landlord having removed?

Flowercandy · 24/01/2025 06:04

Sorry hes removing the wheelie bin,, today at some point but its my own and classed as theft if he does take it

What is your landlord having removed?

Sounds like the wheelie bin.
OP - sounds like you didn't go on and watch him, well done, stay strong - you're definitely doing the right thing.
Hope you manage to sort out your landlord issues.

Dotty87 · 24/01/2025 09:37

Where is the landlord expecting you to keep your wheelie bin? Do you have a space outside, which doesn't obstruct access, like round the back of the property?
