I don't think it shows a great deal of maturity and self-restraint to act like that. in my relationship if one of use gets angry (maybe only happened once in 5 years), we leave the house for a walk to clear our heads. no door slamming, no hitting the kitchen cabinets. no shouting. you cannot put this on your partner. if you cannot control your anger then seek professional help.

wow, maybe your relationship is not abusive and you're talking about something you have no idea about?

My point was that her evidence (before a High court judge) wasn’t rejected but accepted as being truthful. The court accepted that on 12 occasions she had suffered abusive and violent behaviour and therefore Depp’s claim that he had been defamed by Heard (and the press) failed.

I listened to the trial and no evidence was produced that he hit her or did the things she's said. There are tape records where she admits to hitting him and getting physical and tells him not to be a baby.

The court in the UK wasn't determining any of that, they obviously felt the newspaper had printed her story and there was unfortunately no way to "prove" her story wasn't true.

Defamation law in the UK centres on whether the person or publication could "reasonably believe" it was true. That doesn’t mean it was proven to actually be true.

Edited

It was her testimony, no evidence was produced.
