Does anyone still French kiss?

I'm 42 and we've been married 10 years. We only really French kiss during foreplay or sex. Used to do it more when we were younger. Does anyone still Frenchy? Is there an upper age limit.?

Yes of course we do.
We also have a tooth fetish, teeth-licking thingy, which we do at the same time.

LuciferRising · 06/12/2022 13:16

Can't stand french kissing. I do it without tongues.

QueenBeex · 06/12/2022 13:25

Only during foreplay/sex.

ChocoFudge · 06/12/2022 13:45

Anyone else hate the word snog? I've read it too many times in the past couple of minutes and it makes me shudder 😂

We don't French kiss, I don't want someone's tongue in my mouth.

AlanDavidson · 06/12/2022 13:50

DH doesn't like it / won't try. Never has.

It's been over 25 years now and I still miss it. I used to love a proper snog.

So you've never snogged/french kissed your own husband?

his choice if he doesn't like it but I can't imagine having a long term (or even short term tbh) sexual relationship with someone without ever having kissed them properly!

We're all different I suppose.

Hormonesffs · 06/12/2022 14:27

I have to say, I wouldn't have thought I'd say this about a thread about this, but it's actually a really interesting question, because initially I thought to myself 'well of course we do!' but like most posters, actually..no - only during sex or if we do French kiss, it always leads to sex. It's just a very sexual thing to do, isn't it?

I can't imagine kissing like that and then just getting on with life! Dp and I do kiss a lot, but tongues are for when you have more time 😂

Not for everyone it isn’t…

Surely it’s self-evident that I’m speaking for myself and our relationship and not for everyone else in the entire world...

PearlAlice · 06/12/2022 14:58

I still don't get how you can kiss someone you really fancy without getting your tongue involved. If I want someone, I want to lick them, quite frankly 😅

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 06/12/2022 15:06

Tbh I’m not sure I’d know how to kiss any other way. Is it like they do it on old films with just pursed lips and moving your head around a bit? Or if you open your mouth what do you do without tongues?

Numbat2022 · 06/12/2022 15:07

Hahahaha no, been together nearly 20 years 😂We did in the early days, of course!

I love all the people saying 'Oh yes, all the time' but they've only been together 18 months.

How do you kiss with an open mouth and no tongue?

By not using your tongue.

cleanfreak12345 · 06/12/2022 15:19

Only whilst fucking

JadeSeahorse · 06/12/2022 15:20

I'm in my 60's and had lots of boyfriends in my teens/early 20's - not including sex though - and hardly anyone used tongues back then. Not sure when it became a thing! It was always open mouthed and passionate but no tongues.

I did once have a few dates with a French guy and also with an American guy later and they both used tongues which I personally found vile so definitely not for me.

SantasGrotty · 06/12/2022 15:22

Only before sex which is a bit sad. I would but dh not really fussed if it isn't leading to sex

Brandymakesmerandy · 06/12/2022 15:28

I've got an overactive tongue 👅 I can't kiss without it slipping in the recipients mouth 🤷‍♀️🤣

WhatIsThisPlease · 06/12/2022 15:41

Not since I was in my early 20s.

It's rank. I don't ever want anybody's bacteria ridden tongue in my mouth thank you very much.

🤮

Tripsabroad · 06/12/2022 15:44

Only when DH initiates it. I've never really enjoyed it with anyone. I remember the first time, all I was thinking was "is this it? It's really wet and rather gross!"

But I expect it's like sex and there's no upper limit if you enjoy it!

weegiemum · 06/12/2022 15:46

Every day. Together 32 years, married 28, in our early 50s.

Hobbi · 06/12/2022 15:55

Together 30 years, every day unless one of us has got a cold. Unfortunately, that means hardly ever 🙁

Freddosforall · 06/12/2022 15:57

This is fascinating. I have snogged a lot of people in my life and it has always involved tongue (mostly men, a couple of women). No-one has even expressed surprise at use of tongue - including long term partners who would definitely tell me if they thought it was strange. Often the other person puts tongue in first so it's definitely not just me. Surely a full on snog involves tongue, otherwise it's just mouth rubbing?

whattodo1975 · 06/12/2022 15:57

My other half wont even do it as part of foreplay.

RoseLemon · 06/12/2022 16:02

How do you have a passionate kiss without using tongues? Sorry I'm too lazy to scroll back to find the poster names, but for those who don't like tongue, how do you kiss then?? Is it just pecking on the lips??

IncompleteSenten · 06/12/2022 16:05

Did it once as a teen.
It was revolting.
Never again.

Number of tongues per mouth is one, imo.
