Does anyone still French kiss?

I'm 42 and we've been married 10 years. We only really French kiss during foreplay or sex. Used to do it more when we were younger. Does anyone still Frenchy? Is there an upper age limit.?

Not every day but sometimes we do, especially if we are both missing sex but havent had much opportunity, we might have a snog and a bit of a grope. Been together 18 years.

sunshineandstrawberryjam · 05/12/2022 23:29

Not every day but fairly often, yes. Sometimes as foreplay, sometimes just when being affectionate of an evening. Aged 44, together 20 years.

Highlyflavouredgravy · 05/12/2022 23:30

been together 30 years, do it every day

SouperNoodle · 05/12/2022 23:33

I'm in my 30s, DH in his 40s and we do. Usually when we're passing in the kitchen for some reason 😂
The only other time is before/during sex.

SteveHarringtonsChestHair · 05/12/2022 23:57

God I miss kissing! XP and I would have a proper kiss whenever he was here, in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil, during ad breaks on TV, every time we said hello or goodbye (unless he hadn’t shaved as his stubble was evil!) .

We were together 10 years and he still made me weak at the knees by kissing me, and the ‘worse’ it was the sexier I found it Confused. Clashing teeth, slobbering, accidental biting, total turn on!

I’ve got a FWB who is an amazing kisser but I haven’t seen him for months. Need to get back on that horse after reading this thread!

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 06/12/2022 00:12

We do. I'm 41 and he's 38 and together 20 years, married for one

Moro93 · 06/12/2022 00:12

We‘re both almost 30 and together nearly 9 years and still French kiss most days. We’re very touchy-feely though and hold hands, cuddle lots etc. We’re more likely to French kiss after sex than before/during as a sort of come down and I like the intimacy.

Sometimes it’s nice (when we get the rare opportunity) to just put some music on and have an old fashioned kissing and groping session, on some occasions it leads to sex and others it doesn’t.

StarlightLady · 06/12/2022 08:29

OP, I’m a similar age to you and oh yes!

Idontdoyoga · 06/12/2022 08:33

Yes! All the time.

CakeCrumbs44 · 06/12/2022 08:33

Only in bed, it generally leads to something more! (31 and married 8 years)

thenewduchessoflapland · 06/12/2022 08:50

No

I find it repulsive so I tried to avoid it.I love snogging my DH though,he's a great kisser.

CheeseIsMyPatronus · 06/12/2022 08:50

I can’t believe anyone past high school calls it French kissing!

A French kiss is a snog?

It's not.

TangledWebofMincemeatDeception · 05/12/2022 17:21

Oh definitely! It’s important for keeping attraction alive and also for creating intimacy. Been together almost 15 years.

Not for everyone it isn’t…

It's not.

Surely it is, I don't see any difference.

MendaciousMabel · 06/12/2022 12:47

I've never liked French kissing, gives me the heebie jeebies, only happens if we get carried away doing the deed. We're not very kissy in general but we do hold hands a lot when we're watching TV, lying in bed etc and that's good enough for me. Will peck kiss bye on a morning, hello on an evening. Don't think I could bear someone trying to snog me every day!

BigusBumus1 · 06/12/2022 12:48

Been together 19 years and in our 50s and still do most days. Its kind of quick though.

PearlAlice · 06/12/2022 12:59

Hmmm, reading through the thread, I'm confused now by what the difference is between a snog and a french kiss???!!! I assumed they were the same thing! I can't imagine what a kiss between lovers is without use of the tongue. A hello or bye peck, yes, but any other kiss has to be a proper one. Otherwise you'd have to physically hold your tongue back in your mouth. There's much more to this than I realised 😅

stealthbanana · 06/12/2022 13:03

I am also amazed that people DON’T do this! I think of a French kiss as just a normal kiss - I’d find it really weird to just peck on the lips!

Kirytl · 06/12/2022 13:04

@PearlAlice

Not everyone I have kissed has used tongue. Kissing without can be quite nice too. When I was younger my first two partners didn’t use Tongue and I was quite shocked when the third did! More often than not they have but the odd one hasn’t.

MissHavishamsMouldyOldCake · 06/12/2022 13:04

Someone needs to vox pop the public and request a snog from ten passers by. Report back to let us know how many of them slip the tongue.

For me, and for Just Seventeen, snogs deffo involve tongues.

Open mouthed, passionate kiss. French kissing is a snog with tongues.

How do you kiss with an open mouth and no tongue?
