DP Arrested - Trigger warning DV

My dp well ex dp has been arrested and now charged with 5 counts of assault and 1 count of false imprisonment against me on Christmas Day, now remanded in custody till court on Tuesday. I'm a wreck and have severe trauma bonding to him. I'm missing him so much.

I'm around 7 weeks pregnant, home alone with our 8 month old baby and shaking in shock. Has anybody been through similar? The fear of unknown is making it worse.

Been lurking on here since the beginning but just wanted to say that I am thinking of you today and you are doing a fantastic job getting through this even though it may not feel like it. Your DD is lucky to have such an amazing mummy

How did you sleep?

Remember to eat something. A banana or some fruit if you can’t face anything with more effort. And drink water.

Just read this. You are so brave ❤️. I had similar dv last year (not physical) and got a non mol in December. It really helps with your peace of mind. I'm glad you have a lovely friend to support you. You sound a lovely mum and your babies are lucky to have you. Remember you don't have to do anything re. Contact with the children, he needs to contact a solicitor if he wants this. You are well within your rights to say no unless you want him near the children.

Sorry to add when I say not physical it has been physical previously but non mol was done on threats, harassment etc

Oh thank you so much everyone for checking in. I was lying wide awake at 3am until 4:30 and so was my daughter, just lying in the dark cuddling, she was just lying there touching my face and hair. She could probably feel it too. We managed to get some sleep though.

I've just had a nice bath washed my hair and just focusing on task by task to get ready for the day. My hands are shaking. I feel sick. But I'm ok. We're ok.

We're going to wrap up and go for a walk along the sea front I think. Some fresh air and the peace of the waves will do us good. Just having some toast.

Thankfully nothing damaged from the storms although it felt as though the wind was going to blow the house down! I'm trying to distract myself but god this is hard.

@Bunce1 don't know anything yet, just know that nothing happened today and it's been adjourned. It's really frustrating I just want it over and done with. It's so painful

Yes still remanded. I just wish they'd hurry up. I've bled a bit again today. I think it's the stress even though we went for a walk fresh air and distraction
