Note - it's for friend not for myself
If you hve option which one u will choose I understand ppl say earn ur own money etc which is fine but if u have option which one will be ur choice ( some culture don't have that sort of independence it's for them)

Option 1
Good guy…
Good salary …
Got own house …
Will never cheat …
Looks ok ok not v handsome …
V family oriented …
Crap in sex …
Mummy boy …
Bit controlling…
Good with money …
Do take care of me and loves me …
V knowledgeable with investment and future savings …
Don’t drink don’t smoke …

Option 2
Good guy …
Earn less the good guy 35k …
Will get house with my help and savings …
Cheating he won’t too …
Looks good handsome …
For him I m the priority …
V good in sex …
Not mommy boi …
V independent …
Go loves me and take care of me …
Ok ok with money …
Not v investment and savings coz of less earning …
Drink occasionally & don’t smoke…

Option 2 - anyone described as controlling should be avoided.

MrsTerryPratchett · 01/12/2021 20:29

2 all the way. Good shag who's nice? Gold standard.

Crap shag with money? No thanks.

mindutopia · 01/12/2021 20:49

Certainly number 2 if it’s a good and happy relationship. Just because someone ticks all the boxes doesn’t mean they are a good partner though. It’s much more complicated than that.

That said, Dh was clearly a wonderful guy when I met him. But neither of us had anything! Two years later, he was making 18k and we were both recent graduates. We collectively make well over 100k now and have a very nice life with good careers. He’s still a good guy and we’ve always been very happy together.

MrsTerryPratchett · 01/12/2021 20:51

Actually DH was unemployed when I met him so good point!

Megan1992xx · 01/12/2021 20:53

Option 2 relationship won't survive crap in sex

FancySomeChips · 01/12/2021 20:54

2

Onelifeonly · 01/12/2021 20:56

2 obviously. Money isn't everything as long as you can live within your means. My DH owns his own business and paid himself £300 a month only for a while. He couldn't have bought a house with me readily without the one I already had to sell.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 01/12/2021 20:56

Option 2

Controlling behaviour is abusive behaviour, option 1 is NOT a good man and that’s without him also being a mummy’s boy and crap in bed.

Onelifeonly · 01/12/2021 20:57

And I like a drink occasionally. I wouldn't want to be with someone who never drank

Riverlee · 01/12/2021 20:58

2

Controlling and a mummy’s boy are not good qualities.

samesign · 01/12/2021 21:12

Option 2 I would rather create a good life together with him having great sex with a handsome man than option 1 who already has everything that isn't mine, crap sex nope, controlling Pah! No chance, wouldn't last 5 minutes.

WafflesOrIceCream · 01/12/2021 21:22

Option 2!

DrinkFeckArseBrick · 01/12/2021 21:22

I think in general if you can't choose between two guys then neither is right for you

HollowTalk · 01/12/2021 21:23

You really think that anyone is going to choose the mummy's boy who is controlling and really bad in bed?

Sonaftersonafterson · 01/12/2021 21:32

I think both "options" should run very fast in the opposite direction to wherever you are with your weird lists.

Closetbeanmuncher · 01/12/2021 21:32

Oh ffs have you still not made up your mind or are these just the latest prospects Confused

Jellycatspyjamas · 01/12/2021 21:34

Option 2, crap sex is an absolute dealbreaker for me

Closetbeanmuncher · 01/12/2021 21:35

No. 1 - turd wrapped in striped wrap
No. 2 - turd wrapped in spotted paper

You act like these are the only two men in the universe. Christ.

Bellafrenum · 01/12/2021 21:36

Why would anyone say option 1? The only thing he has over option 2 is he earns more. So if it was someone renting my house off me: 1, love interest or basically anything else: 2.

spotcheck · 01/12/2021 21:40

Here's a thought.,...

Go with who you love, and respect, and who shares your values

Jk24 · 01/12/2021 22:09

I don't get how 2 men can love the same woman. Is your 'friend' playing them both?

youvegottenminuteslynn · 01/12/2021 22:11

How's it got so far with both that they're both in love with your 'friend'? I'm all for not being exclusive until you're sure you don't want to see other people, have no issue with people dating multiple people as long as everyone is aware... but to let it get as far as two people falling in love with you sounds ridiculous.

This.

Look for number 3. When you know, you know.
