Women’s trousers found in my bedroom - not mine?

Ok. Doesn’t look good.

But I am home everyday. Literally every day. Husband has worked from home most days for the past 18 months. Only recently started to go back to the office.

He had one business trip maybe a month ago.

Trousers are navy Lonsdale joggers. Definitely not mine.

Husband is offended I’ve asked him there they came from.

This is weird right? Is there only one logical explanation?

@HugeBowlofChips

The Other Woman was clearing wearing split crotch panties, probably red. She wore these as sensible cover on the bus. Whipped them off the moment she crossed the threshold.

No idea how she got home again. Taxi?

no, he probably murdered her.

On our bedroom floor today. I was clearing out things (big clear out) so it’s possible they have come from an old Pile. We did use a laundrette a while back (Feb time?!)
That sounds plausible.
Practicebeingpatient · 03/11/2021 18:46

Sometimes the innocent explanation is the truth. I've found sports wear that doesn't belong to me in the house before. It's easily done when chatting in the changing room. I also found a lovely pair of shoes that I have no recollection of ever having seen, let alone bought. They are brand new, still in the box, a size 3 and absolutely my style so I have no doubt I bought them, stowed them neatly away and completely forgot about them.

Verite1 · 03/11/2021 18:47

I found some knickers in the drawer that weren’t mine. I presumed I had picked them up at mil’s house by accident. Never crossed my mind it could be an affair. Joggers definitely not, unless I already had suspicions. And even then…..joggers??

TokyoSushi · 03/11/2021 18:48

Not RTFT but surely you're not going to seduce anyone in Lonsdale joggers?! If they are the result of an affair (I really don't think so) it's been going on a looooooong time!

Perhaps she's a personal trainer or a pilates teacher?!
KristinAmandaThomas · 03/11/2021 18:53

Just think, somewhere out there is a woman wondering who on Earth’s had her joggers away - possibly even considering the possibility that her DH has gifted them to another woman because that poor sod swears blind he’s not seen them

Well I found a massive pair of ladies knickers in with my laundry that I collected from the laundrette so if you leave it there for a service wash and dry it’s highly possible. Do they smell clean? 🤨
hellcatspangle · 03/11/2021 18:55

@Nap1983

I would highly doubt your husband would be shagging a woman in Lonsdale trackies whilst away with work…. Even more surprised if she left his hotel with no trousers 😂😂
Exactly what I was going to say. Unless he's shagging vicky pollard.
Bluntness100 · 03/11/2021 18:57

What’s going on, first we had a thong, then we had a stocking, now a pair of jogging bottoms,

What’s tomorrows? Someone’s shoes?😂

Vigg1984 · 03/11/2021 18:57

@debwong

I'm sorry but your DH is clearly shagging Sporty Spice
😂😂😂😂
Benjispruce5 · 03/11/2021 18:58

On your bedroom floor or you pulled them out on to your bedroom floor while clearing out? If they suddenly appeared today then that’s very suspicious.

There is your answer right there.
Jenasaurus · 03/11/2021 19:03

msybe its your christmas present from DH

JinglingHellsBells · 03/11/2021 19:04

Was this a self-service launderette or serviced?

Onelifeonly · 03/11/2021 19:04

Well I'm safe from ever having suspicions with two teen daughters. Our house is chock full of their jogging bottoms, girly underwear and make up. One buys new clothes weekly AND accepts cast-offs from friends, both male and female. Often ends up in our bedroom as they like to use our mirror, hairdryer or whatever. DH could shag a new woman weekly and I would never suspect a thing.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/11/2021 19:06

A few years ago I found some knickers down kitchen radiator

They weren’t mine

I didn’t immediately think dh was unfaithful

I assumed was his older son who was single

Tho he denied

Turned out was dh Neice who stayed 6yrs ago

Obv I am a sloth when comes to housework and don’t clean behind radiators for over half a decade

Haven’t a clue about your trousers found

Puzzledandpissedoff · 03/11/2021 19:11

There was knickers last week, then the other night it was a stocking
Now there are some joggers
Fully awaiting tomorrow's

Gimp mask?
Whip and furry handcuffs?
Size 22 bloomers?

You read it here first ... Wink

EffOrf · 03/11/2021 19:16

I like that there is a photo of them, is this in case someone recognises them

sarah13xx · 03/11/2021 19:21

Yeah they look like the type of trousers I find in a clear out. DH has old joggies etc that look like that so if I found them in my house I wouldn’t think twice about it

mpz731play · 03/11/2021 19:35

Shoes can easily be mixed up during a quick getaway - like when the wife comes home unexpectedly early. The OW grabs, or more likely the H grabs all the OW stuff to send her out the back door as W is reversing her car onto the drive, but oops, the wrong shoes are taken in the panic. There's a perplexing mystery at the loss of the shoes for a couple of weeks, until they turn up in a place the W had already searched. H persuades the family that the house has a poltergeist and there's much merriment, until W figures out what has actually occurred. A poltergeist is now the least of his worries ... Hmm
LorenzoVonMatterhorn · 03/11/2021 19:40

Im starting to feel so sorry for that poor woman who is out there missing her stockings, thong and now joggers.

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 03/11/2021 19:40

Very strange, I've lost my grey version of these joggers at the gym today :( hope you get to the bottom of it OP

Do you now feel judged? Grin

Btw, what brand of joggers would be acceptable?

Ironytheoppositeofwrinkly · 03/11/2021 19:48

I do, clearly my scruffy gym wear makes me a heathen. I wouldn't mind, but this is the 3rd pair of scraggy joggers that have gone missing after the gym in a year. I'm going to have to go to primarni to buy more :(
