New boyfriend - smell

I started seeing a lovely guy recently. All going well except he sometimes smells very sweaty when I’m near him. I’m trying to think of a way of telling him without hurting his feelings - which seems impossible. Any ideas?

Everyone has a unique smell you can’t scrub or perfume away for more than a hour or so IMO. Years and years ago I had to finish with a boyfriend as his natural body smell made me gag-reading this brought it all back! I can sniff and wallow in my DP’s natural perfume. I love it. Perhaps I have a strong sense of smell.

There are some men that won't wear deodorant.

My DH. Married 22 years and have had 3 kids. Good thing for me I didn't ditch him because of that in the first few weeks of meeting him.

I think you should address it as others have suggested - in person and just throw it out there casually. Make it a joke. Keep it short and sweet. Make him feel comfortable. Don’t make a big deal of this
