Having a talk today with him

So my friend who’s more than a friend to me, and we act like more than friends, he knows I have feelings for him too.

So yesterday he was completely off with me, couldn’t be in the same room as me, kept walking out if I was in the same room, tried talking to him, he was angry and annoyed with me he said but wouldn’t tell me why.

Going to meet him in an hour to discuss what was wrong and I’m really nervous and don’t know what to do or say?

Op,

You are 28, cop yourself on.
You have been given excellent advice on how not to be a fool and get caught up with a self absorbed idiot.

Do you have any self respect? Because it sounds as if this guy is making an idiot out of you.

He has shown you plainly who he is? A twat.

Don't contact him again and pass him off in work.

He isn't into you and is making a fool of you.

Back completely away.

Here's a red flag 🚩 ;
He warns you about what he is like in the early stages.

Maybe he is being honest and upfront with you.
Or maybe he is setting the scene so that later on when you complain he can say 'but you knew what I was like'.
