Hot gym guy gave me his number

Okay....so been making very small talk with hot guy at gym, but today we stopped and chatted for a while, he was leaving and I was arriving. Anyway, he asked me what time I was coming in tomorrow and I said around 11ish, but he said he was coming early. Then he said 'maybe we could train together", I sort of smiled and said "yeah", he asked me if I was on "insta", this made me laugh as I think he is a lot younger than I am. I said no and then he said "how about WhatsApp". I said yes and then next thing you know he is giving him number and I am shaking whilst trying to remember how to add a contact in my phone. This sort of thing does not happen to me.... What do I do now? Message, not message, wait a few days. The "incident" occurred this morning, ha ha ha

I'm 43, btw. I have no idea how old he is, he looks young....I also look young which is why guys get it wrong with me

Omg you are so right. I don't want to train with him, well not in the gym anyway. He is ripped, and looks like a Greek God. Ha ha. I would be scared.

You are calling him 'hot guy' though, so I assume you're interested? See if he asks about training and then say you get self conscious about training with other people, but how about a coffee?

It's unlikely to be a serious long term thing, but it could be some fun.

Text him before the day is out. No point in playing games.

Keep it casual, something like "Fun running in to you at the gym again today! Here's my number x"

I would just text and say your passing your number into his also and enjoy training tomorrow or something

If he doesn't have you're number then first message is easy, "hi, it's x from gym, insert vague comment about weekend/weather/gym"

Yeah, he is cute and I would be keen to get to know him. I always overthink everything and think I need to go with the flow and have some fun
