As a family we had some pretty hellish news last weekend. DH is being quite unpleasant and at times aggressive in the way he is communicating with me. Should I call him on his behaviour at the time or just let things slide and just accept it as a byproduct of the upsetting news.

@Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep I was utterly dumbfounded especially as i had said that dh has admitted he enjoys winding me up as it’s so easy. He also says it’s my fault I’m upset as I’m choosing to be upset at what he’s said

Still feeling very out of sorts. Lots of planning for the summer break. Will also need to make some longer term plans.

OP, I'm sorry I didn't see your last few updates, they didn't come through on my notifications. Have you started another thread?

Did you manage to speak to Women's Aid? Has your friend been able to offer you any more support? I hope you are doing OK.
