@Angelofdeath hey! Flowers been worrying about you, how are you feeling??
I must admit ive had one glass of wine and i just feel really tearful and empty today, I know its really silly its just hard, like i know it is for everyone... just struggling at the minute... it will be ok though! So people keep reminding me!

Angel you forgot ... ‘any weekend plans’... YAWN.. lol
Hope youre ok lady x

OutingMyself · 19/02/2021 17:49

@Shayelle2009 I know that feeling. It is really hard. I know lockdown and the pandemic in general has made me feel so much lonlier than I was before. I've been hitting the wine harder than I should recently, which is stupid because more often than not I feel much sadder the next day!

OutingMyself · 19/02/2021 18:16

Anyone who has been on walking dates - what do you wear on your feet?

I mainly wear converse atm, but I know some consider them a bit 'young' for a woman in her 40s Grin. No point putting someone off in the first five minutes..

Shayelle2009 · 19/02/2021 18:39

Yeah @OutingMyself exactly... its friday night.!! . been alone all week 😔 its just shit and i know it is for everyone.. just sick of it, you know.
Lets talk about your date 😁 as thats fun... hmmm trainers are totally fine arent they? Nothing wrong with converse at all!! If hes put off by converse then boy bye ☺️

Shayelle2009 · 19/02/2021 18:41

Thankfully im a lightweight so one of two glasses does the job... any little thing just makes me cry at the mo though 😔 not a lot to feel all bright about is there.

bangheadhere40 · 19/02/2021 18:49

Hey Shayelle thanks for welcoming me to the thread and sorry you've been sad.

Completely understand, I've just felt crazily upset until last week and the doctor gave me some prozac. Now I just feel numb, but it's better than crying i guess.

I resonate a lot with isitreally I had an iron who got me invested through texts and long deep chats, we did date eventually but then back to texts and it absolutely broke my heart. Weirdly too....it's not like me at all.

I haven't really been on the apps much since, if I do they all look like potatoes and no one that piques my interest 🙂

I was a lightweight at the beginning of lockdown. Last night I drank a whole bottle of wine and got on with my day today Grin

I go through phases of being really down and taking everything to heart. Hopefully theres not to much longer until things get a bit better now.

In my head I know I shouldn't worry about what shoes in wearing, but there's a bit of me that thinks 'what if I actually like this one and this tiny thing puts him off'. I suppose it also depends on where we actually walk too. Hopefully nowhere muddy..

Shayelle2009 · 19/02/2021 20:07

@bangheadhere40 its a really nice little chat we all have going here i dont know about anyone else but i really like the community feeling of it and I know we’re all just strangers on a forum but its lovely and a comfort to feel some real kindness and connection. I hope the prozac helps even if it just gets you through until life picks up for us all a bit.

@Angelofdeath bless you i hope its something manageable and that you can live without giving it too much thought on a day to day basis.. life is hard enough isnt it? I know its blasè but i always try and think things could be worse and as long as you can get up, get out, look after yourself hopefully anything can be overcome Flowers i have a feeling you have a very sparkly spirit which may get weighed down from time to time but it will still sparkle again despite any setbacks ✨🌟🌤

@OutingMyself hear you on the wine intake. My drinkings actually cut down tonnes since wfh ..think theres no stress of commuting to have to cope with! I love being a lightweight hee hee! Grin
What kind of guy is he? Is he a chilled kind of sort or a one you’d want to dress up around? (city slicker type?) Yeah levels of mud would definitely influence footwear choice!! Smile

Sending Wine, Bear, Flowers and good vibes this evening Smile

Shayelle2009 · 19/02/2021 20:09

@bangheadhere40 yes dont they all look like a weird kind of mr potato head as you swipe though? Its disconcerting for sure Confused

bangheadhere40 · 19/02/2021 20:13

They really are dire Sheylle the odd match i do get doesn't like me back.

bangheadhere40 · 19/02/2021 20:13

Or they do but its like pulling teeth trying to keep the convo going

Shayelle2009 · 19/02/2021 20:16

Ps @Angelofdeath i find that if you need to cry then just do and dont even worry about it. I never used to cry a lot but do most days lately. Sometimes its better to let it out and just feel it and flow with it.. BUT i may give crap advice and dont want you to end up like a crying mess like me haha so maybe dont listen.. GrinGrin x

Shayelle2009 · 19/02/2021 20:18

Yup @bangheadhere40 its shockingly bad isnt it... the good thing is we are all thinking and saying the same thing!! I give up with it for now, im still feeling a bit crap about jd so until i feel better im not even going to bother.

bangheadhere40 · 19/02/2021 20:23

What happened with JD? Sorry I'm new to this thread. Sorry if I'm digging up old stuff, I know how hard it is when an iron doesn't feel the same though.😧

Ah it was nothing really @bangheadhere40 just another iron that didnt work out. Add him to the pile Grin

Bless you @Angelofdeath you must have been in shock when you picked them up, is this the first time you’ve had a bit of time and space to yourself since you had the news? Might be the first time you've had to yourself to process it.. sometimes you do need that though, and it helps doesn't it. Just a bit of thinking time.
