@Angelofdeath - Sorry to disappoint you lol. I didnt mind asking him to come over as he has already been here to sort my gas, but obviously not on a personal level!
It wasnt meant to be obviously, I cant force it.....I do worry that I will never have feelings for anyone ever again though

I don't like to drive far either, so it would be up to them to drive to me, not fair really.

I've cancelled the potential date on Sunday, as I didn't really like the way he talked. I'm possibly being too picky, but he's not stunning, he's 50 miles away and he swore a bit on the phone, not bad swearing, a few sh$ but I felt it inappropriate so early on and also a comment about women talking a lot and also a reference to the size of his d**@k, which is excusable as I'd started that by saying I didn't want d**@StarlightSparkle*
I'm going with my gut feeling, but feel I'm probably too picky and won't find anyone, as there's very few and none I fancy.

Ahh @pineappleonpizzaornot it is a shame... only you can decide though... maybe you could say to him you were a bit tiddly the other night so dinner is nit going to work but maybe a drink after lockdown... see if he keeps chatting and get to know him slowly? Might make you feel less freaked out, if hes cool then he’ll understand.

Youre not being over picky @Zoomme i would have cancelled for the same reasons as you. Another creep, talking about his dick - urgh, why are so many men so basic, its cringing.

It's like they've nothing else to talk about! He was just a bit rough and I think it would quickly annoy me, so no point trying. I just feel I'll never find anyone, but it is still early days and I'm only on one app.

Hi ladies ( and men?!) been lurking for a while on this thread but I need some help! So when you've met someone online and you possibly want to meet ( to see if you actually like them) wants the protocol? Are you going for coffees I see a few of you have mentioned coming to your house for tea etc but I feel a bit square in the fact that that scares me as I've never met them! Am I being too sensible or do I need to lighted up a bit? First time online dating so am clueless! In the uk on lockdown doesn't help us! Thanks

@ivegotthisyeah I wouldn't invite someone I don't know to my house. I've been for a walk, twice, once ended in a kiss I wouldn't normally do that at the moment but decided to go for it on the spur of the moment.

@TwoHoots74 Google is your friend, literally. You go to Google images and can upload the photo. It should work, I say should as I haven't found any of the photos on it but every website says that's how it's done.

Yes I told him I wasn't into that sort of thing. He just wanted to talk sex. I'm worried now it'll happen again, so I tell them straight away that I won't do that.

I will be interested to see if my work pal asks me out but im not convinced he sees me like that, i think hes just trying to be nice and give me a boost (though gone quite OTT)... as he knows how long ive been single, we have laughed over several of my dating disasters in the past... ie one guy i was chatting to and was talking about meeting up but he ended up doing LSD and went bananas.. i never ended up meeting him 🙈😂 we did have a giggle about that one!!

For anyone whos got creeps pestering to come round id just say my two rottweilers arent friendly to strangers.. hehe
